Amazing
Wow. These pickups punch massively above their price range and sound absolutely incredible. I'm a strat/hard rock player and wanted something to give me classic tones with a bit of punch when needed and these really deliver whilst complementing the strat tone. I've never had alnico II magnets before and I don't think I'll have anything else again! The presentation and build quality of these exceed the well known American competitor and they arrived in 24 hours. Very happy customer.

Great pickups at a decent price
Installed these on an SE Custom 24 and it now sounds great. However, a tip for anyone else replacing stock SE pickups is that PRS doesn't provide colour codes for wiring on their SE models on their website, and it is different to the more expensive PRS line: so take it one wire at a time and one pickup at a time, making sure you note the connections and you'll get there eventually. P.S. You don't get a lot of wire with these Tonerider pickups but they are value when compared to the bigger, and a lot more expensive names out there.

Fantastic Jazz Blues Pickup
If you are looking for that early hum bucker tone, then these definitely deliver. I took a chance on these paying full price for a set and I can now see that that was a bargain (after installing them). Having upgraded several guitars and spent twice as much on a single pickup; to say I was surprised is an understatement. What I would say though is that they benefit from being combined with an electronics upgrade to that similarly used on early electric's from the big 'G' manufacturer (if your upgrading a far eastern guitar). The tone is very sweet, I play clean and these pickups do not use powerful magnets which is by design so if that's your thing then its all good. They suit Jazz and Blues more than high gain type of sound which was exactly what I was looking for. At the end of the day you get what you pay for but in this case I got a lot more that I was expecting which is a rarity.

Amazing sound at budget price
Before buying these pickups, I originally intended to get a set of seymour duncans. I watched endless YouTube videos and read user reviews enough to take the plunge. Installed on Gibson Les Paul standard, I must say that they sound noticeably better than the standard pickups. At about a third of the price of the comparable SDs, the sound is easily equal in quality, if slightly different. Buy these in confidence that you'll love the sound. It's only a matter of time before Tonerider start increasing prices to better position themselves amongst the competition so get them while they are still cheap. The quality really is equal to the likes of Dimarzio and Seymour Duncan!!

A massive upgrade - at an affordable price.
Very big difference in sound in comparison to my guitar's stock ceramic pickups. Overall, it's very clear sounding - practically no mud. Very pick-sensitive.Although it is not as "hot", which was to be expected as it is a lower output pickup. It works really well for 60's - 70's classic rock tones, up to heavier rock.Installing them was quite easy, however the wiring diagrams that came with the package lacked the appropriate wire colour codes. I had to look them up online on Tonerider's website. Other than that; no problems. 👌🏼

Great pickups.
You can't really good wrong for the price of these pickups. They have an open airy feel to them which compliments Les Pauls. The packaging is also good and these were relatively easy to fit. The wires could do with being a little more substantial, but this is only a minor gripe at what are great sounding pickups.
