The media could not be loaded.  I purchased these magnets to help keep a pocket door closed that likes to open on its own sometimes. I used two of them on the door eventually but first tried one and then went to three, but two gives the best of both because one was not quite enough and 3 was too much. Actually two is a little too much, but I had to do it because one just would not keep the door closed like I wanted it to. With two of them it is a little hard to open unless you give it a good push. You can see my pictures and video to see what I mean.

My cats will open any cabinet door they can hook their claws under. They can also push their way into closets with slide doors if the doors can rock forward and back on the tracks. These magnets were effective in keeping them out of kitchen cabinets and my closet, so I can sleep soundly at night without hearing their nonsense.I only used the adhesive parts for these magnets which was plenty strong. I did hold them in place for at least 10 seconds to ensure good contact. It helps if you place one magnet and then magnetize the other side to the one already adhered. Then adhere the second to the cabinet door by closing the door on the pair. Press the door firmly for several seconds before opening again and the pair of magnets should come apart without issue. I use two pair per sliding cabinet, two pair per hinged cabinet, and one pair for my sliding closet doors.

I am using thesee magnets to keep a cabinet door tightly closed. I had previously ordered another brand and the magnet strength was weak and adhesive was useless. So when I got these magnets, I was very impressed. The magnet strength is strong and the adhesive is also very strong so I did not need to use the included screws for my purpose.UPDATE: After one week adhesive failed. I’ll have to use crazy glue to keep magnet in place instead.

I have.... Well HAD a closet door that's just a bit out of level and the door was sliding open after I closed it. My furry felines thought that was an invite to furr up my hanging clothes. This solved that problem fast! The adhesive is a gel type sticker making it not completely flat. It has just enough depth to insure it grips onto both the back of the magnet and your surface. I had planned on using the screw in option but the sticky option is sooo good I'm not going to have to put holes in my wall or door. Not so magnetic that I can't pull the door open with a standard closet pull but the cats are definitely not pulling the door open to nest in there anymore.
