Sketchers had previously been relatively reliable for me, as my feet have a habit of finding the weakness in any shoe I wear after a shockingly short time. However these were very comfortable, and warm without being sweltering, and allowed for the inclusion of heel lifts for my slight scoliosis. They also suited my general look, which was a plus. However, if you are going to use it, do not use this in harsh environments, such as areas where there is naturally salty ground. The way the sole is constructed, the glue will fail after a relatively short time and the upper will start to peel away from the sole. This is a common flaw in this kind of shoe construction, but this occurred after just seven-right months of what I would consider normal non-intensive use.

I had already purchased a pair of these Sketchers and I have to say they are the most comfortable pair of trainers I have ever worn. This influenced me to purchase a second pair as I'm afraid I'm one of those people that always like to have a nice spare fresh pair of trainers . Cannot recommend these Sketchers highly enough, when it comes to purchasing another pair in the future then I'm certainly going to be buying another pair of Sketchers sports Energy Afterburn, Comfortable, stylish and value for money.

Great and durable shoes. For a child that is hard wearing on their shoes we have hit a record of lasting longer tha 10 weeks without showing signs a of wearing. Very comfortable and will totally be buying again.
