Great for someone just learning.
I had borrowed this dvd from our library and kept it so long by accident! So I bought myself one for Christmas! It's an excellent tutorial with realistic shopping list; doesn't give you the need to go out and buy every quilting tool invented! She's a great teacher!

Very good for beginners to quilting
Alex Anderson is a very effervescent and enthusiastic quilter. She has an easy going style and clearly loves quilting. She starts with the very basics of quit making by walking through her local quilt shop and showing you how to choose materials by deciding on your feature design and building colourways around that.Alex shows you how to start off your quilting hobby in the cheapest way and which tools you need to spend your money on to get you started.The DVD shows you how to make a simple block quilt and is excellent starting point for any beginner.

This is a nice Cd to get started it gives some information about how Alex started and what to buy. I would have liked some demonstration of how to make some quilts. It would have been nice to see how to cut out some pieces and how to sew them together.

Takes you through the entire process of making a whole quilt 40 x 46 inches
Very informative. Takes the complete beginner through the step by step process of making a small quilt using square blocks. Much easier to follow than books I've looked at.
