GUND Sanrio Hello Kitty Kuromi Plush, Premium Stuffed Animal for Ages 1 and Up, 9.5”, Purple/White

This My Melody by GUND is stinking adorable. I originally saw her for sale at WDW’s Epcot and regretted passing her up because of the price and was so happy to have found her on Amazon at a cheaper price.She is extremely soft and fluffy with the exception of her feet. Not sure why they decided to make her bottoms of her feet hard... it is possible the idea behind that that was to have her stand instead of opting her to be more cuddly and soft from head to toe.Overall, this little bunny is perfect for all my melody fans and collectors alike. It stays true to the actual Sanrio character along with her pink hood and flower.

Actual item looks identical (or better) than the photo. Will say that I like the way she looks so much & her collectible size is perfect that I did not dock off a star for nitpick-y details: such as 1. mine does not actually stand on her own due to the hard bottoms of her feet being sloped and 2. The fabric of the hood around her face sort of folds in but can be flipped up to show her face a bit better (stays in place once adjusted). I am not using mine for cuddle purposes as she seems more suited to be a display collectible in my opinion. She leans against the back of my shelf and is displayed next to the 7.5” My Mel Squishmallow, they look adorable together. Highly recommended for a My Mel enthusiast!

Extremely well made, can stand on her own, not too soft but not too stiff. Would soften up with cuddle love. She's bigger than I expected her to be. Looks exactly like Melody would look if she were real. I have all the fiveBelow Melodies and those are wonderful on a budget. But if you can afford the $40 (that's what I paid for the Gund Melody), then definitely invest in this one and you shouldn't need any others unless you're a serious collector.

If you were to take My Melody out of the My Melody animation, she would look EXACTLY like this. Her size is just like in the cartoon. I love that you can hug her or have her stand because the bottom of her feet are firm. Her white fur was a pleasant surprise! It is super soft, but not silky like the usual feel of a GUND toy. Her white fur is textured while her hat is silky.You may think the price seems a little steep, but I wouldn't hesitate to pay this much. She is, in my opinion, the PERFECT My Melody stuffed toy. My Melody stuffies are really hard to find for a good price, as the Asian versions are even more expensive, tend to be a smaller size, plus the added cost of shipping.If you or someone you know loves My Melody, this is a no brainer. She sells out fast! If you missed a chance to get her on Amazon before she was gone, try to look elsewhere on the internet. She's a GEM! <3

Material and sturdiness is great. Definitely worth the money when I purchased couple years ago.
