7 Balls, 3 Adjustable Heights, 10 Games Modes - Awesome!
This was a GREAT addition to our basement. It arrived in one heavy box, with no damaged or missing pieces. Among the 10 game modes are single player, 1 vs. 1, collaborative scoring, crossfire (where you shoot diagonally) and different game durations. If I had a dime for every time my 8 year-old said "please, just one more game!" I'd have enough to buy another one. We had some adult friends over last night, and this was the game of choice, getting more play than foosball, ping pong and Stiga rod hockey combined. Scoring is nearly perfect, the only misses coming when two balls go through in very rapid succession. Assembly was fairly easy - one recommendation I have is to have a 10 mm box wrench available, it'll make holding all the nuts easier. The supplied Allen wrench works fine, though I used one from my bike tool to get a little more leverage & save my fingers some abuse. Use your own full-sized phillips head screwdriver for the few screws that need that tool. Instructions were pretty clear; the only part I messed up was that I put the net/ramp on upside down, which we fixed the following day. There are black tabs on the net for the control module wire to pass through, and they should be on the right side as you look at the rim from the shooting area. Fully assembled, it is sturdy yet easy to move - the wheels also lock to prevent it from moving around when shooters "lean in". With a few interruptions, I took my time and got it together in 3 hrs, all-in. Helps to have a partner when hanging the backboard. No electrical outlets nearby? No problem! Can run on AA batteries or be plugged in. Shuts itself off after a period of inactivity. Great quality, good value, tons of fun. We're very happy with this purchase.

Very good product
We found the game to be very sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. We did use YouTube as a guide which was really helpful to avoid some of the problems other buyers have had. My husband and I are enjoying the game, but we really bought it for grandkids. Husband writing now: I am NOT handy with tools (understatement!), so it took me (age 72) 6 hours to assemble the game, but it was actually straightforward and fun to do. I only messed up a couple of times and had to redo little things. Everything works great. Suggestion: You will need a friend for the backboard assembly. It's heavy. Also, try to use your own tools. The company admits your tools will probably be better than the provided ones, which are designed for people who have absolutely no screw drivers or wrenches. A ratchet wrench is a wonderful thing! Also, get some kind of step stool when mounting the backboard because of the weight and height. Our game fit under a 93 inch basement ceiling, using one extension tube on each side. You are not giving your shot much of an arc at that height and I'd say one in 300 shots will scrape our 93" ceiling, but sometimes the scrapers end up going through the net, it's still a lot of fun. Ideal for 10 foot ceilings, but I can see where kids could use it at only 7 feet. Would I recommend this game? Sure! It's expensive, but so far seems to be well worth the money. Brings out your competitive spirit! I'll update this as soon as the grandkids visit.

Customer service is amazing
So I bought this unit over a year ago. Suddenly the unit stopped working won’t turn on. So I reached out to popa shot to see if I was missing anything. Sure enough no hesitation they sent a brand new computer module for free and shipping. The customer service is top tier. Make sure you buy name brand. The game is also a lot of fun. And the way it folds up while still holding the basketballs is a huge space saver. Built well.

EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCT, EXCEPTIONAL FUN!!
I can't think of a better word than "exceptional"! From the product reviews, I was convinced this would be a quality product, and indeed it is. But as much as I read about how fun this would be, I knew that would be an individual experience that I would have to wait and discover myself. First off, I bought this for my 10 year old niece (she is obsessed with basketball) because she wanted it so bad. I set it up in our basement which has a 7' 9" ceiling. The middle height adjustment was perfect. We almost could have went to the highest setting if I had a couple more inches to work with. But we like it just fine where it's at. We have had this just a few days, and it has been used for hours! I'm 42 and enjoying this very much. But with 6 kids in the house (between the ages of 10 and 18) it is getting used several times a day. Everyone loves it! It even gives you more exercise than you would think. The kids complain that they are hot and their arms hurt from playing so much haha. Hey, anything that compels these young ones to put down their phones and go compete in some physical activity is definitely a win! Besides the physical quality of the product itself, I'm also pleased with the mechanics. I've been watching the scoring accuracy very carefully while the kids play. I agree that the sensors seem to be working at least 98% percent of the time. Probably better, because I have only witnessed twice that a score was not counted. And that's after hundreds of shots! So now, I have to tell you one of my favorite parts... the announcer! The kids agree with me that "he" makes this game so much fun! The music is also quite good. Not just a cheesy multi-tone sound, but real music! The built in speaker is of better quality than most games I've purchased, but I love that fact that there is a aux jack on the back to plug in a better, external speaker. I did this and it sounds amazing! Also, the announcer had quite a large vocabulary. Yes, you do hear the same phrases quite a bit, but there are many of them. And even after hours of play, new ones we haven't heard come up. He gives both encouraging comments and gives some sarcastic, humorous comments too. I won't spoil the fun by quoting his comments here, but he is entertaining and adds to the entire experience. The 10 games also keep this game from getting too repetitive. The kids love to switch it up all the time. The "cheat sheet" is very handy too because it is attached next to the control board and it gives an explanation of all the games. This has been one of the best entertainment investments we've ever made and it's an awesome compliment to our game room! P.S. The fact that it easily lifts and folds up, allowed us to place it by our pool table so it does not get in our way at all.

Muy mal servicio para la atención en una garantía por defecto

We thought the kids would have fun throwing hoops and at least that way they would be away from the screen a few minutes everyday. We never expected us adults to enjoy Pop-a-Shot so much. It's just as fun as it is in the arcades, with the added convenience of having this at home. It comes with 15 different modes to make this challenging and fun. Installation - Videos on their site may not match your specific model or product iteration. However the manual is straightforward to follow and quite frankly there was only one catch in the whole process. This is mostly a one person job, but having a second person for a few keys steps makes it easy to balance the frame. - CATCH: As mundane as it seems, be sure the net is installed the right way or it will obstruct the sensor that counts points that is directly below the rim. We found about this as one of the sensors was not counting correctly. As in my picture when looked at from the front, you must have a clear and unobstructed view of the sensor (notice the larger whole in the net). This is specified in the installation manual, but we feel a warning box would be handy so that people know there's a functional reason why aligning the net the right way is important. Perhaps even a sticker placed on the net and net bracket that goes with it for alignment, would make this even more fool proof. Willing to bet there's at least a few people calling support every day for a faulty sensor, when in reality the solution is straightforward if you know what you're doing. - The structure is adjustable to ceilings of varying height. We have standard 8ft ceilings in the basement, and were able to use one set of extenders. That fits our use perfectly and find the height perfect for game play. The frame includes an additional set of extenders if you have taller ceilings. - You can either have the gameboard use batteries or have it plugged in as we do for added convenience. Operation: - Smooth, just works, counters are 100% accurate. Be aware that when you are granted bonus time or in certain game modes, the other person hoops may not be counted. This is by design. You may have been given bonus time, the other person may have not got to the minimum score to get that. Sturdiness - Looks and feel sturdy, even withstanding kid abuse slamming the ball as hard as they can against the board, and an 8 year old climbing the ball ramp on a few occasions. Value - Amazing value, as stay-at-home workers, my wife and I challenge each other at least once a day to go downstairs and play a couple of games. Gets the heart pumping, and gets us exercising and having fun together. And trust me, from someone who runs in the summer and lifts weights, throwing hoops rapidly is a good workout and I feel my heartbeat increase every single time, play for more than 3-5 minutes and you'll break sweat. It just feels like a cheat code to exercise, having fun and not ever having to leave the house which comes in handy during the winter months. Best for - Couples or families with kids 8+ years old. - People living in places with long winters, or excruciatingly hot summers who may want to remain active without leaving the house. Sorry got to go and throw some hoops rightaway, I'm trying to get to 100 points in game mode 1.....love it.

I am an adult father of two and I am having too much fun playing with this thing! My wife and I have been having daily battles for the past month and candidly, played with it 95% more then our children. To be fair, my son is bit young still to fully enjoy, but he loves the announcer play by play and has taken to yelling out “buzzer beater” and “pop-a-shot” in random and out of context conversations but it’s become an inside joke for us and really has brought our entire family a lot of joy. We had lot of different people of varying ages over during the holidays and the pop-a-shot was a hit with everyone, old and young, ballers and noobs alike! In terms of setup - the instructions were easy to follow (there is a handy YouTube video walkthrough that’s great as well) and I was able to get it put together with a little help from my wife in 3 hours. I have had no issues with scores not being counted and while balls do occasionally bounce out, it’s always due to overzealous shooting vs structural issue. Having 7 balls to work with is awesome and the loaded games and music make it a lot of fun playing head to head or even the solitary challenges (included pic of my high score for reference!). The lone concern I have is the backboard tilts forward ever so slightly. I believe this is due to the connection points of the upright tubes not being ultra snug. It’s a very minor 2-3degree tilt so it’s mostly imperceptible but wonder if that could effect long term durability. That said I’m sure this product is head and shoulders above the quality and sturdiness of similar dual shot offerings and would highly recommend pop-a-shot as the best choice in the category. Only other issue is I wish the outdoor version was available in Canada because I would buy another one for the backyard in a heartbeat!

I am proud to say that I'm a woman that assembled this all by myself! The most difficult part hands down was the backboard. There was a piece that was bent and wouldn't fit into a connecting piece, but a hammer fixed that. The whole system is great and alot of fun to use. My kids have really enjoyed it. The reason for 4 stars however is the bent piece and one of the balls was defective. You pump it and it goes flat within minutes, therefore making it useless. Also, the bottom left and right corners can become loose and the balls fall out, and the balls tend to settle on one side, making it difficult to reach for while playing. Overall it's great, but for the price and set-up process, I expected everything to be close to perfect.
