Good value for information
Good value for information..a bit confusing and have to read it a few times to understand..it is also better used in conjunction with a map..

Full of Information, However…..
This great little book will be really useful on our next trip to France, it’s handy size is pack full of Information, However, all the photos are in black and white something we we’re not aware of which takes the edge off what would have been a brilliant travel aid.benivanadventures - travels in our campervan

Impossible to navigate!
Sorry but how could anyone organise a book like this? You have to go backwards and forwards, spending hours to make sense of it. Big mistake to have purchased. Also lots of aires now taken over by Camping-car Park! Better to get their app!

Good book, like brand new.

Disappointing
Sorry to say I was pretty disappointed with this book. Alan Russell is obviously extremely well-informed on the subject, but I found the layout and format very difficult to follow - it soon becomes fairly boring. The maps are almost unintelligible due to the exceptionally faint print – a strong light and a magnifying glass is needed to see the place names printed on them. It won't be joining the van's onboard bookshelf.

Hard to navigate
Although this book has lots of information, for me, I found it almost impossible to find anything. Unless you have a good knowledge of the geography of France, trying to find aires at places you might like to visit is very difficult. Using the names of the regions and departments just didn’t work for me.
