OXO Steel Y Peeler

You know the feeling of using a cheap tool for years because it feels silly to upgrade, only then to experience that upgrade in such a way that almost makes you feel upset for all the time wasted using the inferior tool? This is that upgrade.

It's been almost a year since I bought this peeler and I'm happy to report I still use it every shift at work (I'm a bartender). Definitely recommend. It doesn't take too much of the pith which I like. The blade is holding up great too, I haven't noticed it getting dull. It's easy to grip and fits in my apron pocket easily.

This product is great, the quality is very high. The hold is comfortable, the blade is very sharp and strong.

Does a good and smooth job peeling carrots and squashes. Did not like that the all rubber bottom was not shown in the listing. This will degrade in a few years. I wanted all metal. I needed to toss my old oxo peeler. The older good grips rubber handle got sticky after years of use. I only used to hand washed it. This one is nice looking and works good but if I knew that the handle was half rubber I would not have purchased it.

This peeler is so sharp it makes peeling so fast. It's heavy and beautiful, definitely work the $$$.
