Verbatim 43552 4x DVD-RW - Spindle 10 Pack

These are the first rewritable DVD's I have bought. I have previously bought writeable-only discs but have acquired a steadily increasing collection of discs containing data I no longer need, which obviously I can't erase...and which are now taking up space...so I thought I'd give these a go. I am very impressed so far. I bought these discs to create copies of Linux operating systems to try on my computer. I downloaded the Linux Mint 17.2 - 32bit 'iso' file and then burnt it to the DVD disc using 'Brasero'...dead straightforward. I installed the new operating system and then decided I would try the 64bit version. I 'blanked'(i.e. erased), again using Brasero, the 32bit disc and then burnt a downloaded 64bit version on to the same disc...again with no problems. The 64bit Mint 17.2 system installed faultlessly and works fine. So, the Verbatim disc has worked perfectly in all its functions. I have no reason to believe that the remaining discs in the pack will not perform equally well. I am very satisfied with the product and would recommend it highly.

Am very please I got the Verbatim 10 Pcs DVD-RW RE-Recorble 4x 120min 4.7GB blank Discs. Last Night on 11th December 2012 I Record a very good film, Just to see when it got to the end the DVD 120min I set to recoed for on LP for 160mns, then I play it back on my DVD Recodable It was very good on TV, I think I have thes DVD befor. I Like to say to any one if ther like Recod any thing belive me ther are very good guality no problems at all. Am very happy I got the VERBATIM DVD-RW-RE RECOEDABLE. I recomend to any one to buy therm. Next yere I will buy some more in 2013 some time very good price. I will be back for some more.

I have used Verbatim discs for a number of years. I still use them.Dependable quality.

first time using a vcr/dvd recorder, to transfer VHS-DVD, purchased these dvd-rw discs, formatted it no problem, finalised it no problem, got a little worried that it might not playback on different dvd players, these discs playback perfectly with no issues. Very pleased I've bought this brand,and very reliable. Thank you, will buy vertibem again!! 5 STARS.

The first two DVD-RW discs I tried to burn (For Archive/ Backup purposes) went wrong, would not verify, and became unuseable - could not erase them and start again, as DVD drive would not accept or recognise them - even though I had just burned them on the drive a couple of minutes before! I worked out that the problem was the combination of the DVD drive (Pioneer DVR-118L) with ImgBurn Software (also CDBurnerXP) - Although both these programs have always worked fine using Verbatim DVD-R discs- and continue to do so I finally managed to successfully burn the remaining discs using Ashampoo Burning software(ticking "Format DVD First" option in Change Options menu). So these discs are actually OK, It just looks like you cant guarantee that all combinations of discs/ dvd drive /burning software will work OK together. Previously, my original (2006) Philips DVD drive was OK with ImgBurn and CDBurner software using these discs.

Don.t be fooled into thinking that these will be writeable and erased for evermore. I found that after about 5 or 6 writes and erasures that no pc will read them any longer. For a short term solution they do work but not for as long as suggested in the product description. Manufacturer's Description Verbatim's DVD-Rewriteable media use a Super Eutectic Recording Layer (SERL). SERL ensures that noise-free recording can be enjoyed time and time again. With conventional rewriteable media, the recording layer deteriorates with every rewrite, meaning a decrease in quality. With Verbatim rewriteable media however, the recording layer is returned to perfect condition on every erase cycle, leaving a flawless disk for the next recording. SERL also enables this media to enjoy excellent archival stability and high-speed recording. This means users can enjoy perfect, high-speed data storage every time. flawless? I think not ! So far I have used 5 and after a few times had to throw them away. They are not bad, just not as good as they claim.

Quality DVD's, these work where others wouldn't.

Came very quickly . Real good price. ( For that price you won't get the plastic case....) i live in a rural area and our computer store just closed. Also the price is very atttractive.

A diferencia de los RW+, los RW- requieren finalización no automática, pero las grabaciones quedan muy seguras. Su precio por Internet, incluido gastos de envio, me resulta un 50 % más barato que el que se encuentra en Teruel. Y técnicamente tienen la ventaja de que al borrar una grabación o al cortar la misma el proceso es mucho más rápido. Pienso seguir comprándolos.
