Copic Sketch Basic 72 Color Set

This is the marker set that professional illustrators and artists around the world reach for, and holding one in your hand, you immediately understand why. Let me get the obvious out of the way — these are expensive. But for a young artist who is truly serious about their craft, these are the real deal, and they will absolutely know it the moment they start creating with them. And while we are being honest, I am not entirely sure why my kids needed different sets. One has the Ciao, one had to have the Sketch, and here we are. If you are a parent of multiple young artists, you already know how this goes. There is apparently a very important difference between the two that I as a non-artist parent cannot fully appreciate but that my children feel very strongly about. You just smile, nod, and hand over the credit card. Such is life. The Sketch markers are widely considered the more professional grade of the Copic line, with a larger ink capacity and a super brush nib that gives even more versatility and control. The blending is absolutely seamless and the color payoff is stunning. Once again I was nervous about authenticity before they arrived, and once again I have seen absolutely no indication of any knockoff situation here. Everything looks and performs exactly as genuine Copics should. Made in Japan, built to last, and worthy of every penny — even if I still don't fully understand why both sets were necessary. Highly recommend!

Ive been wanting copic markers since i was in middle school, and i finally took the leap and ordered them for myself. I am above and beyond pleased, the color selection is good for the basic colors set, the case was cracked like a lot of others said theirs was, but i really didnt mind since i dont care for visuals that much. The markers do bleed just a teensy bit, i also had some of them upside down so that was on me LOL. They are smooth and vibrant and a little moister than i would hope but still really good. Overall im very pleased, and hopefully in the future i can afford some more. My only real gripe is how expensive they are but they are amazing in quality so its the price i must pay for my dream makers (literally)

SUPER clean lines, Copic is great for a reason, I had a blast using these. They’re expensive but worth it if you’re invested in your art.

as a kid i would beg my mom for copics and she’d let me get 2 at a time so i have about 20 random colors. i alwaysss wanted this set but was always told no. now 10 years later im an adult and trying to get back into art so i treated myself to it with my own money and im so happy! :) case was not cracked and none of my markers arrived dry. i tried Ohuhu markers as an alternative but they simply cant beat Copics. They are quite pricey but so worth it. This is a super quick doodle i did just to test some of the colors (i’m still rusty :P)

The markers are wonderful - a nice selection of colors. The case they came in was cracked at one end in both corners at the base. Had to tape it to keep the case square. Amazon drive must have tossed it over our electronic fence as I found in closer to the fence on the driveway rather than placing it at our front door ( which most drivers do). Disappointed but happy with the markers and that’s the most important thing.

So the markers as a whole work perfectly fine and none came dry. I was skeptical from purchasing these on Amazon as a lot of reviews said as much. However, keep in mind that it does matter who you purchase these items from. I saw a lot of reviews saying they got good deals on these markers and for cheaper but the trade off is some didn't work. NEVER buy these unless it's for base price. These things never go on sale for a reason. So be aware, buy from a verified Amazon seller and you'll be fine. Only issue is the plastic was indeed cracked upon arrival, but I 100% can't say that it was the seller as it was more than likely the shipping from Amazon. Sure there was paper padding but this thing needs bubble wrap, something Amazon never does. But it's just the plastic case so it doesn't matter. So buy with confidence and remember to choose the sellers wisely.

Fantastic set at a decent price! I have drawn quite a few pieces with these already and they have held up with no issue! Case is solid and provides good organization for the markers!

I bought this for a family member and now I can’t even give it to her. Spent $300 and it’s missing THREE markers! On top of that, the plastic case is damaged, and the one marker I tested is already drying out. This is ridiculous. Total waste of money—absolutely do NOT recommend.
