weight of flame thrower please

It is made of steel and with fuel probably is the same size and weighs as much as an old fashioned vacuum cleaner. You need to use two hands to operate it. It is quite amazingly powerful when going at full blast so definitely not a toy. I found it a little intimidating the first time I used it and I am a professional gardener used to operating power tools like chain saws and the like. It goes through the paraffin fuel at quite a rate so if you are doing a large area you need to make sure you have plenty to hand. If weight is an issue you may want to think of a smaller gas canister operated one which probably don't have the same blast effect. It really does the job though but real care is needed.

Is the Sheen X-300 flame gun still made in Britain? If not, where? Apart from fuel, is it supplied with everything required for use, including the coil wick?

Hi, yes this is still made in Great Britain. And yes it does come with the wick and is ready for use except for the fuel.

Are there any spares? Plunger washer, pricker to keep nozzle clear etc please.

Hi. It comes supplied with a price to clear the nozzle but I didn't see any instructions with this. My dad had one years ago and I remember him pricking it whilst in use, so that the pressure forces the build up out and not in, so this is what I do. Its a bit tricky but does work. As for other spare parts, mine has been in regular use since purchase and I've not needed to replace anything.
