What percentage of the active ingredient (permethrin) does it contain?

EX4 Antimosquito Insect Control for fabrics contains the following; Active ingredient Permethrin 0.49% w/w

Does it stain clothing?

It should not stain clothing,if it is cotton, rayon or other nylon clothing could have a problem, if it is on your hands and you touch plastic it would mark it

Does the product state a use by or expiry date, if so what is its approx lifespan?

I can't find any expiry date on the batch we have in stock, but there is an indication that the liquid should be used within 24 months of opening.

How far in advance should you spray your clothes?

Hello, thank you for your question. EX4 is an effective insecticide and it can be used immediately upon application onto clothing, but we would not recommend doing so because firstly, of course your clothes will be wet, and we would recommend that the EX4 does not come in direct contact with your skin. It is vey important that the clothes are fully dried after treatment of EX4 onto clothing, or any fabrics, once fully absorbed the effectiveness and duration of each treatment will increase significantly keeping you protected for longer. We would recommend letting the clothing or fabric to dry for at least 2 hours before use.
