STP Fuel Injector Cleaner 250ml

Excellent product for maintaining a car's performance. Prevention is better than cure so I put one of these in a full tank of fuel every few months. Had my STP Injector Cleaner from ‘The Paint Pod’. Excellent company, courteous throughout and highly recommend!

I bought this for my RX8 which hadn't had a service for over 17 months. The engine idling was lumpy and inconsistent (a normal trait apparently) and the mpg seemed particularly bad. The rough idling I felt was due to poor ignition so I felt a clean of the fuel system and spark plugs would help. After using the product I definitely felt the engine to be smoother. I have no objective measurements for the mpg however subjectively I feel it was a worthwhile investment

Although my Meriva 1.6 is in generally good condition the m.p.g. was poor and idleing was a little irratic.I tried different things but with zero success and at one point gave up. As a last ditch effort I put a bottle of STP in with a full tank of petrol.For the first half tank I noticed no improvement but as I got down to a quarter tank the performance improved in every way and the m.p.g is MUCH better . In a nutshell,the best £4 I ever spent. Though obviously I can only relate my experience with it.

This actually works, only really noticeable when accelerating over 40, there is more kick and the engine sounded more refined.It says to use every 3000 miles and I am considering it.
