Perfect project chest
Perfect little art project. I got myself some leather and pins and stain to dress it up and make it look old and high quality. The hinges can be rescrewed to make the lid close flat.

Love it!
This was a perfect product from purchase to finish. I made a memory box to give to my son after my firefighter husband passed away. It turned out beautifully. I just ordered more at the request of friends to make additional boxes. Very sturdy, arrived in plain wood as pictured, tolerated sanding well, and held stain beautifully.

A decent treasure chest
This chest was the size I wanted: 4 3/4 W x 3 1/8 L x 3 5/8 H inches. The thickness is 1/4 inch. The top and bottom are perfectly aligned when closed but askew when opened because the hinges are a bit crooked. I carved wavy lines on the outside with a Dremel and stained it and I like it. The wood is lightweight and cheap but it just needs to sit on my desk so it's fine.

perfect size for my crafting needs, perfect close(and if it wasn't even, just unscrew the hinges in the back and realign... persons comment on it not closing even didn't consider this. lol)

Crooked lid
Hinges were badly installed so the whole lid opens crooked.
