Hunting the hunters
I loved this book. The Predators have been hunting humans and all other species for sport. Always with technology and surprise in their favour. I am glad someone is taking the fight to them. Now, in the year 2056, humans are capable of interstellar space travel. The Predators just have more targets to choose from. In 2041, Theta is the only survivor of a Predator attack. For the next 15 years, she has been hunting them. Scavenging their own weapons, armour, technology, and learning their tactics, but hunters will only be hunted for so long before they turn the tables. It's a great brutal action-packed book. As I said, it is great seeing Theta taking down these monsters. I am glad this series is continuing even in the mini series format. Love the story, and the artwork matches the brutal action perfectly. I am also glad that the swear words are not #£#&* out as (used sparingly). This adds to dramatic moments. The book finishes with a thumbnail variant cover gallery.

Decent Predator comic in a sea of mediocrity
I picked up a Marvel Aliens comic recently and, to be honest, found it bearly readable so went into this expecting similar. Rather refreshingly, it was a great read! Excellent story, solid characterisation and just a very enjoyable comic from start to finish. Similar vibe to Nocterna by Image, only in space and within the Predator franchise. Well worth your time - especially if you're a fan of Predator in general.

Horrendous series - check out the Original Years omnibus instead
I’ve read that some people have given Ed Brisson credit for the premise - of a human hunting Predators. However, it came off extremely poorly and if this is what Marvel has planned for the franchise then I am not only disappointed Ted but scratching my head.Having a protagonist kill a predator in hand to hand in the first couple of panels is not an incentive to keep reading.Brisson’s terrible writing isn’t complemented by Kevin Walker’s art - he was so reliable on A.B.C. Warriors’ Hellbringer but is too bland here.Definitely stick with the Dark Horse comics (collected in two Marvel Original Years omnibus) and Benjamin Percy’s far superior Predator vs Wolverine.Avoid this

Disappointing
Great premise but ruined by a poor story and run of the mill ending. Could of been great.

Amazing
I had no idea this would be so exciting. It’s like finding a hidden treasure. A journey well worth the wait.

Predator by Ed Brisson Vol. 1: Day of the Hunter
