Nice replacements
Just got the black upgraded ones for my Artics Nova Pro Wireless headset. My old ones had the PU leather worn down and gone and noise cancelling didn't seem liked it worked anymore. I understand that this headset doesn't have the greatest noise cancelling, but it did help bring it back. It is a noticeable difference in noise cancelling and comfort. I am impressed enough that I may pick up the silicone headband for the headset now. And giving the purchaser a 15% discount on their next purchase was a good idea. It got me haha

Helps with comfort
Helped make the headphone more comfortable. They are slightly thicker than the default cushions qand the extra room keeps the noise cancelling numbs from contacting my ears

Perfect fit!
I love how these are a bit thicker than the originals. The problem with the originals is that they are too shallow and so the insides constantly graze the edge of my ear. At one point I even developed a blister from the abrasion! After installing these upgraded cushions, I haven't had to worry about it again. The sound isolation is still great, they're comfortable, and fairly easy to install.

Pretty good upgrade, definitely worth it if the noise canceling knob pokes you
These are a good upgrade from the standard cups, assuming they hold up with time. I replaced my cups after about 3 years of use and some noticeable wear and tear. These are a bit thicker and just slightly larger cut out on the inside, so I've noticed that my ear fits into the cup a bit better without being pinched. This is really nice given that I generally wear glasses. The additional thickness will make them fit a bit tighter on your head, so if you have a big head beware of that, but considering it pushes the little nob for the noise canceling further away, it's worth the trade off.Pretty easy to install, just pop off the old ones with a butter knife. There's an instructional video, but no paper instructions.

Great sound very comfortable
Ever since I found out, you could switch out the ear cups it’s definitely extended the use of my headsets. The additional padding inside of these helps with noise cancellation and they definitely fit a little bit better than the originals. I do wish I’d seen that they had a cooling gel version before I bought these, but Honestly these are very Comfortable regardless. I will say look at the installation video as the steel series definitely lock these things in, but once they pop off getting the new ones a little bit of force, but they fit perfectly flush the same way as the old cups overall recommend depending on if you enjoy the cooling Joe version before getting these see if those are available, but either are great products

Makes headphones worse, but fortunately don't last very long
These pads are a huge let down in every way. So many ways I don't know where to start.First, they are hot. Really hot. If you aren't gaming in a COLD room, your ears will sweat a ton. They are made with a non-breathable vinyl like fabric that your sweat will just sit on top of. The padding underneath is just run of the mill memory foam that holds heat like crazy and started to warp in weird ways after only a week of use. The seam between the patterned vinyl and the interior white material began to separate in the first few days and there isn't enough overlap in the material to sew it by hand to repair it. The lift off of the ear is greater than the stock pads, but that changes quickly as the pads warp and crush with time.Do not recommend.

I liked them but they wore out within the year
TL;DR:Overall: 3/5 @ $27.95+ Feel/comfort+ Looks- Noise seal- DurabilitySo let's get the positives out of the way: overall, I liked how they felt and looked. When I first replaced my old NPW stock earcups, I did notice a slight decrease in the noise reduction, maybe an issue with how well these cups seal to my head, but that in itself isn't a dealbreaker for me. The feel on my head was better, and they weren't worn and flaking like my beat up stock earcups, so they were to my satisfaction in those regards. That said, the stock earcups didn't have to be replaced for about a year and half, which is when they started flaking (I wasn't the best at caring for them, to be fair). These earcups both tore at the upper seam, one at ~38 weeks in and the other about a week later (purchased early Jan '24, tore late Sept '24).The picture attached is from today, Oct 16, 2024, and both are pretty gross now that the inner foam is exposed to my skin. I use these headphones almost daily, so I don't expect them to be able to last forever, but less than a year is a bit disappointing. On the plus side, they haven't flaked much at all, besides a small few blemishes that may have been from bumping or scratching them due to user error. I am more diligent about cleaning them and wiping them of excess moisture and oil, so that may be a factor there. All in all, a 3/5 score seems about fair, for the pleasant experience and feel, the slight decrease in noise reduction, which can be a big deal for some users, and the less-than-stock durability. Definitely could be a worthwhile purchase if you're aware of what you're getting into.

Way better than the stock cushions, and I prefer these over the "cooling" ones
These are perfect for adding a little more room between your ear and that annoying little noise canceling nub. On that subject, I would strongly advise getting these over the "cooling" cushions because that cooling effect lasts less than a minute before they get as warm as any leather cushion. There's no sorcery there, all you're doing is sacrificing the passive and active noise cancellation for pretty much nothing. Those also kind of diminish the audio quality a little bit too. So I highly, HIGHLY recommend going with these instead. They were super easy to install, just look up a video and follow along. If you're even looking at these, your ears are probably touching the nubs, so these are pretty much a must.
