Sabaj 60 W RMS Audio A1 Class D Hi-Fi Digital Amplifier - Black

Nice looking amp, and appears well made. It turned on by pressing the volume knob in for a moment, pressing it in, while it's on, switches inputs, of which there are two. One 3.5mm jack and two RCA connectors. It didn't come with a UK plug, just a European one, and I had to find a UK to IEC C7 to connect the power brick. The amp can run on 12V or 24V. The power supply was labeled 24V.It sounded good, but there is noise audible at close listening distances regardless of volume. This was with 8 ohm speakers. Changing power supply and using 12V makes no difference, it sounds like electrical noise from within the amp. Maybe because the gain settings to the 3118 chip are set high. In a quiet room, I can tell when the amp is on, even when there's no input. Not necessarily a problem, but the amp becomes warm even when not playing music, which I wasn't expecting from a digital amp.

I used this to replace a mini hi-fi system, used for my TV sound.Yes there was a dramatic step up in sound quality. Much sharper and distinct. However it runs really hot.It is on an open shelf and even when just idling (no sound, but turned on) the case reaches a temperature that is only just comfortable to touch (,about 50C), which is a worry.

My elderly Technics amp developed a fault and was unusable, and has been for almost a year. It was fairly redundant anyway as I only ran my turntable and my Mac through it; I no longer used the tape deck, CD player or the tuner.This amp solved a number of problems, in terms of its size, functionality and so far I have no complaints about the sound. I run both the Mac and the turntable: the former into the 3.5mm jack input and the latter, via a pre-amp, into the normal audio input. I can switch between the inputs with a push of the volume button.Wish I had done it ages ago

This is a very good little amplifier, plenty loud enough for domestic use, which I have worked to an old cd player to give me sounds in my workshop. I would happily use it to replace my main system, however, as it is as good as anything I have ever been able to afford (and I am way old.)

My midi hi-fi system broke which I was using as amplifier & speakers as had connected it to Bosse Soundtouch for streaming music. So all I wanted was an amplifier. This does the job brilliantly. Great sound and feels like a quality unit. Very impressed!

I read the other reviews and decided to give one of these a try....The other comments are right... this really is an excellent little amplifier - incredible quality item for the price!A sold aluminium case, quality connections, and complete with separate PSU with UK mains lead.Quite small (only about 4" square) but nicely put together. The single control knob on the front does everything... It's the on/off switch, the input selector switch, and the volume control. It's not a fixed travel analogue 'pot', but a continuous rotary encoder. So, accurate and totally silent small volume increments, with no chance of any 'crackling' now or in the future.Based on the Texas TPA3118 chip it gives a low distortion, low noise and really powerful output (if you need it!). It's also easy to control at lower volumes as well.If it proves to be as reliable as the manufactured quality suggests, it really is a first class little device..... Watch this space!....

Awesome little amp, had to downgrade from my Cambridge audio am10 to fit into my new cabinet. This amp powers my bookshelf 100w speakers with ease, not as loud but still enough volume for a living room. Only downside is its short on inputs but at this price and size its to be expected. Hasn't been set up long so only time will tell if it lasts.
