I have never been a person to suffer with any kind of allergies. But as I get older, I notice certain things changing in my body. First in my eyes. I developed some sort of an allergic reaction to something in the air in my home, mostly in my bedroom. It was almost impossible to watch television without getting stabbing burning and tearing of my eyes. I tried every drop on the market. None of them work too well at least for a very long time. Then I decided to try this air scrubber. I’ve had it for over a week, running on high During the day when I’m not in the bedroom. At night we turn it down to low and keep it there throughout the night. I haven’t had a tear, an itch or a burn in my eyes since I started doing this. I just ordered two more for other areas of my home. I highly recommend this product. It’s quiet, the air appears to be nice and fresh in my bedroom now and I am very very happy with it. I would suggest it to anybody who is suffering with the same type of respiratory or eye conditionUpdate: as prestated I ordered an additional two units for my home. I placed one in my family room and one in my formal living room. That adds to the one I have in my bedroom. These units are remarkable. They are quiet, they are powerful, and they are designed to fit in well with the contents of the room they’re in. Each unit scrubs about 1000 ft.² of air. This house is 3600 ft.². I personally have not had an instance where I’ve been uncomfortable with my eyes, breathing, and general well-being since installation. When we are not home I run them on the turbo setting. When we are home I turn them to a lower setting. This is working out quite well. I strongly suggest this product to anyone who has the same condition that I have. I am sure, being a physician, that this would be advantageous for people with respiratory problems due to allergies and other various conditions.

The media could not be loaded.  During the isolation time, I spent a lot time staying at home with my families and dogs. I have 2 dogs, and all my families love them, but my daughter and I are allergic to their dander. So I have to clean my house every day, but we still felt very uncomfortable when playing with them. And what’s worse, when the sun was shining in from our windows, I was astonished to see a lot airborne particles/dust or whatever floating in my living room.I suddenly realized that all my families were breathing unhealthy air every day!! I was afraid about it and asked my friends for help, and they recommended me to purchase an air purifier. So I went on Amazon to find the solutions.It was my first time to buy air purifiers, so I was cautious when making the purchase because I did not want to waste my money. I searched a lot brands and read a lot reviews, recommended by one of my friends, I finally bought the Okaysou air purifier. There are three models in this manufacture, 8l, 4s, 10l pro. I bought their newest model because I liked the sleek design and wanted an air purifier with auto/Eco mode. After using for a few days, I am very glad for what I bought and all my families had felt the difference.I received the air cleaner earlier than the estimated delivered time. My daughter was so excited and we installed it together within minutes. The unit touched comfortably and was easy to use. Unlike other touch control units, it is a button-control machine just like the buttons on clothes. It has three large filters in total, and all of them were well-packed in the machine. After removing the packages and installed them well, my daughter could not wait to turn it on. There are 3 colors to feedback the real-time air quality. I put it in the living room, and I noticed that it changed from red to blue within 10 minutes. It is awesome! Another wonderful feature is the sound. I did not know if it reached to 24 dB, but I must say that I almost forgot it when running. But I did know it was working because my daughter loved to put her hand on the top to feel the purified air.The air purifier has auto mode, timer, and filter indicator, and looks good to match my house. This unit definitely meets and beyonds my expectation. The customer service is also fantastic! I emailed to Okaysou with some questions about this cleaner before buying and received their message with the detailed explanation within 10 minutes from the manager of the company. And it also provides 5 years warranty. Such great service!In sum, all my families even my dogs love this air purifier. And since start using it, I feel much safer when playing with our pets and have much more restful sleep during night. It is a very happy purchase and will recommend to my friends! After about a week, I noticed that the air seemed cleaner. It's color will change if there is a higher level of pollutants or allergens. The settings took some time for me to figure out because the instructions are written poorly.

What's there not to like? It works great, has a washable filter and covers a large area!I started to develop an allergy to pet dander that really messed up my breathing. I bought this air purifier hoping it'll help and it did. I no longer have any issues being in my living room with the pets.I put this in my downstairs living room and it's a pretty big area and it seems to work really well.The highest setting can be a little noisy but putting it on level 2 is quiet and still does the job.For some reason, it didn't seem to remove the coming smell too well when I cooked yesterday but I know it's working fine because I did not have any allergic reactions from my dogs with the air purifier on.I would recommend this to anyone who has allergic reactions to pet dander.

It did work great then it just quit and doesnt work like it did. Some of the features dont work anymore and either blows on low or very high only. Frustrating

Help dust and pet hair. Color changes depends how the air circulation. Very quietWorth buying.

I live in smoky Alberta where our air quality has been very poor on most days lately. The air purifier is set on Auto. Last night, hoping to have some cooler fresh air in the house, I opened the patio door. I soon found out the air purifier detected the smoke in the air, the air quality button turned red and the fan went into the fastest setting. This also happened when making pork chops when the purifier detected the cooking smells. I also notice my nose isn't stuffed up in the mornings. It's very quiet for sleeping when on the lowest fan level. I am very pleased with how it's working and definitely recommend it.

The Okaysou AirMax8L Smart air purifier met all of my expectations - actually exceeded them. The unit is well designed, well built, and circulates the air in an 800 square foot room in about an hour, effectively removing practically all of the pollutants in the air. I have allergies to puppy dander and dust mites and the air purifier provides me with a restful night’s sleep free of congestion. It runs quietly and has a variety of useful adjustment controls for fan speed, operation timers, sleep control and filter replacement. The filters are one of the downsides from a cost perspective with replacement 5-stage filters (recommended replacement every 6-8 months) costing CA$60. Hopefully some less expensive third party ones will soon appear on the market. I was fortunate to have purchased my unit when I did. I paid CA$169.99 and a week later the price in Amazon had increased to CA$199.97. However, this is an impressive air purifier that I would strongly recommend.

We are in the fires of Alberta, so air quality is very poor at this moment, when we walk into our home we can rest assured that it will be clean and pure air...though it's humid and we have no AC these purifiers actually work very well. When we opened the windows for oxygen the purifiers turned yellow or red to warn us that/when the air quality was very poor to close our windows back up again and let them clean the air. Excellent products. We bought two of them...1 for the basement and one for the main floor and are buying a 3rd one for our top floor as well soon. 👍

We just set it to auto and it's great. So quiet we don't even notice it, even at night. Cleans the air effectively. That's not too challenging at our house but we did see it jump into action at a higher level when we had a slight overcooking incident in the kitchen, lol. Great purchase!
