I've been using these on my verification projects with both metal and ABS plastic and they work great. Is there a big step up over my old fashioned wax sticks that I was using. Great value for the price.

I have always used soap stone to mark on metal but these pencils work good and I like the different colors so it makes the lines easier to see.

Really helped marking for welds

I bought them to use on aluminum. They just didnt leave a line i could see verry easy. Im sure they work good for wood or other materials

I like the assorted colors and the pens, but they really do not transfer very well to some metals, hard to see

Wouldnt buy again can only use leads that came with it as they are a proprietary size (smaller than those available at say lowes) hard to see lines on steel and leads are pretty hard which means less of a mark. Gave these to my son to draw with and bought one from Mcmaster Carr or lowes eaither way those are compatible with each other.

Dad used it, so must have worked.
