SPF 50 Sun Care Lipscreen 5g [Personal Care] by Uvistat

Prone to getting cold sores if im in the sun. Used this for 2 weeks in Jamaica and no cold sores. Great product.

My lips burn with even the slightest exposure to the sun. This balm is the only product that prevents any sign of burn or blistering. An outstanding product that I’ve used for many years now, and will continue to do so. If you layer it on, it does colour your lips white, but you can still wear your usual product over the top.

It's lip balm, it's perfectly fine. No idea if it's actually spf 50 or not. It goes on the lips fine, doesn't taste horrible and appears to be lasting quite well.

This is a must for the sun protects lips so well

I’ve been using this Uvistat SPF 50 lipscreen for years now - it’s so little and light I just keep it in my bag as soon as the weather starts turning warm, and whip it out for use whenever I want to protect my lips from the effects of the sun, and give them a lovely moisturised feel too.Most of us remember to add sunscreen now, but many of us still use normal lip salve on our lips, rather than one with a sun protection factor - even though our lips are very delicate. This one by Uvistat is SPF 50, which is a very high level of UVA and UVB protection.I trust it because I trust Uvistat - a reputable company who have produced high quality sun protection creams for all my life (over 40 years). And in addition to the sun protection, it also provides excellent moisturising.It glides on easily, it’s not hard and doesn’t drag the lips. (Temperature will affect this slightly.) It has a slightly pearlescent type sheen when you put it on your lips, which is fine on male, female, adult and children. The very-slightly-white- tinged look could be a fashion choice (like my favourite fringed TV presenter) but unless you pile it on, it’s really not that obvious. You can add a hint of colour on the top of it if you want to - I do, when I want to make my lips look pink as well as being moisturised and sun protected. But when I’m on the beach or cliff walking I really wouldn’t bother!There’s no ingredients on the product details so I’ve attached a photo of the full ingredients list in case it helps anyone. The photo with the pen is just to give you an idea of the size against a standard biro.Currently only £5.55, this is a bargain to me, and though I received one for review purposes, I have been buying and will continue to buy this Uvistat SPF 50 lipscreen for myself and my family. We wouldn’t look for any other lip protector. Love it.
