Specimen Sight-Singing Tests, Grades 1-5 (ABRSM Sight-reading)

This is a really good book to use if you're like me and struggle with sight singing. It starts off simple with grade 1, and you can progress through the book as you become more confident at sight singing all the way to grade 5! I am planning on doing the grade 5 singing exam in the summer, so I practice two of the tests each day, or every two days. The book I purchased was second hand off of Amazon (which was clear by its appearance), but it was still in great condition for practicing with, which is all I need it for anyway. You should definitely consider buying this book because you really do improve on your sight singing abilities!

I am sure that, for a student taking singing exams , these would be a great help. I had hoped that they would help with sight singing for the aural part of the piano exams. For that purpose they are not really helpful. My fault, not theirs.

Although it is the older version, it is still useful practice. These are harder tests than they are now so be prepared to be challenged!
