REBEL Case for iPhone 14 Pro [Flex Series] Exposed Sides for Comfort, Aramid Fiber, Strong MagSafe Compatible, Protective Shockproof, Upgraded Frameless Rugged Cover for 14 Pro 6.1 2022 (Flex Black)

I've followed the progress of Phone Rebel for years but only purchased my first case in January right after receiving a new iPhone 14 Pro. I bought the flex case, desiring the open sides. It is extremely comfortable and makes the phone feel much smaller. At the same time, it is also extremely protective for 95% of drops. You will get micro-scratches on the sides of your phone, but at least with the stainless steel of the pro models, they are negligible. As the title suggests, this case protected my phone from a 40+ ft drop. I was rock climbing outdoors and accidentally left my phone in my pocket as I climbed. I had no idea until I was belaying down off the top of the rock face (about 45ish ft up) and my phone slid out of my pocket. It fell, bouncing off of rough rock on the way down, slamming into rough rock on the ground, and bouncing about 25 ft horizontally before stopping. The screen protector was shattered, but the phone only gained one tiny scratch. The case absorbed the entire impact of the fall, with a shallow gash in one corner, causing the phone to escape practically unscathed. So yes, I can confirm, EverythingApplePro's drop tests are legit. This phone case absorbed a 40 ft drop on rough rock with no issues. At the same time, the case is extremely well-designed for daily usability. Swiping up and down is easy as the case is flat at the top and bottom, protruding at the corners for protection. The only fault I've found is the edges on the back of the case are a little sharp, but if you use a Magsafe accessory it solves the issue. Speaking of Magsafe, these magnets are extremely strong, many times stronger than those on a cheap $13 case I got from Amazon, making my Magsafe wallet completely secure. Due to the fact that I am outdoor climbing frequently with the constant risk of dropping my phone sideways on jagged rock, I have decided to switch to a case with sides. Naturally, I bought the non-flex version of this case since I've had a great experience with the brand. The sides of the Rebel version are a tad slippery, but the buttons are very clicky and the overall feel remains solid, like the Flex version, but notably, the back is not sharp.

I originally bought one of these Rebel cases for my iPhone 13, which was the version before this one. I had seen a YouTube review of this case where they dropped it from a 50 foot tower and the phone had very little damage. Incredible! I was sold. I loved that its profile was slim, it’s texture gave you friction to hold on to, the buttons have metal in them and were very responsive as if they were a part of the actual phone, and it came with a thick protective glass shield. A lot to like. That was until after about 3 months, I noticed the case on the edge in front of the phone’s right button was coming away from the phone and creating a bulge. I was disappointed and called Rebel’s customer service. I got a rep very fast, who understood my issue, and offered an immediate solution. If the case is under 6 months old, they’ll send you a new replacement free of charge. If it’s older than 6 months, they’ll give you $20 (plus the tax) back to put toward a replacement. So I opted to get a replacement. It was on my doorstep within 3 days. This upgraded iPhone 14 Replacement Case looks exactly like the original with all the same great features. Rebel evidently listened to their customers who had various construction integrity problems and made the construction quality better on this version but did not change the design. It’s a successful improvement. The case feels sturdier and more durable. I’m happy.

I had one these on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. So when I got the 14 pro max it was a no brainer to get the same case. I pump concrete. In this business nothing lasts long. I’m rough on everything. But this case is out standing taking a beating. I can’t tell how many phones I’ve broken while out in the field. I literally dropped my phone more than 40ft several times and not once did my phone break let alone a cracked screen with this case. What I love most is how tough it is being so thin. I’ve had the otter cases and they’re great for protection but way too big and bulky. Fits great in the pocket without weighing my pants down and the grip is great. Plus I like the style. In my opinion, having so much experience with this case is hands down the best case on the market and a reasonable price. Definitely pick this one up.

I appreciate how much detail was put into making this case. You can look around the case and see from all the curves, texture changes and precise fit that this was drawn up on paper then put into production. Allot of thought and attention to detail was put into making this case. The case comes with black metal buttons and an included screen protector, which is a nice bonus and fits perfectly. No install frame included to help with precise alignment. Different color metal button options available for an additional purchase, wish we could choose what color we initially would receive. The more major issue I have with case is the front facing screen lip, sliding onto screen is very rough and not smooth gentle welcoming feeling to your finger. Sliding off screen feels allot smoother than when you slide finger onto screen. For some reason I feel this rough lip many times while using the phone. The lip on the corners sticks out even more which I do feel in hand when holding and handling phone.The lip is a great measure for protection but the roughness has to be addressed. The aramid fiber looks and feels amazing, very gentle and smooth to the touch. Over time you might need to use a needle to slide between the aramid fiber and joining case as there is a small seam where junk can get stuck into. Especially if u get sauce or something that like there and it drys. I understand why the sides were changed away from aramid fiber to provide an extra grip, which it does. Case feels solid in hand and the extra corner protection is a plus. I have no worry in my mind at all about damaging my phone when it is in this housing. The buttons are amazing as they do not rattle or move around and provide just a premium feeling when used. The cutouts are spot on as everything is perfect and provides the ample openings that u need around mute and power port. The MagSafe magnets secure to my MagSafe car mount and never have issues with phone failing off. So to summarize I would definitely put this case into the top 5 choices for the iPhone 14. I hope on a revised next gen version they just work on that rough feeling lip. ** The posted video has both cases in review ** FLEX series Innovative way of protecting which allows you to enjoy the workmanship of phone This design really sits in its own category because it offers extreme protection in the areas that are needed the most. When you drop your phone it either falls flat on its back, face or on the corners. This case has you covered with screen edge lips for screen protection as well as a thick included glass screen protector. The back also offers a protective rim around the camera to protect those lenses as well as on the edges to protect back. Very thought out engineering went into the design of this case. Where this case stands out from the rest is the ability to have you enjoy the true premium workmanship of the phone with not having to worry that you are walking around unprotected. Do to the protective pumps throughout this case it would be extremely difficult for a dent on the side of the phone unless you drop phone on it’s side, on an uneven surface. It does comes with flexible clear protectors to align with side buttons to offer side scratch protection from handling with a finger ring on. They also provide a quantity of three pairs so you have additional ones to change over time. I was never one to use the phone naked as I always worried about damaging but I am very excited that this case allows you to appreciate the phone in hand without the worry. Great job on the manufacturing and design of this case.

This case is orgasmic. It looks sexy. Feels SO good when you get all the vinyls on right (which is tricky). And it makes me mad how much I love touching it. Like, I paid for an iphone14 Pro, why am I obsessed with how good this case feels? The texture feels amazing. I really wanted a cystral flex case, but they were out of stock. I didn't love the kevlar look, but honestly. Try it. 🤤I can't speak to the protectiveness or durability, but it seems on par with my previous Rebel Flex case on my iPhone XS, which survived many a tumble for this marathoner athlete. I was disappointed with the installment process of the screen protector. No instructions, and the little guide stickers weren't strong enough to hold the weight of the screen protectors, which made for a messy, dusty installation. I reached out to Rebel about this, but still haven't heard back. I'd still recommend their cases, but the screen and vinyl side installation leave MUCH to be wanting. FYI. It looks s__y AF with the space black 14 pro. Just sayin. Update: After about a month with this case, the vinyl stickers that protect scratches on the side have started to peel and needed to be removed. It does come with 3 sets of stickers, but I’m guessing that these are going to peel like that, so the longevity of those is disappointing, but the case is still great. MagSafe works perfectly and is nice and strong.

I want to start this review with this statement: I have carpel tunnel syndrome and am constantly dropping my iPhone everywhere I go... rocky ground, sand, roadways, concrete hardwood floors...etc. As I stated in the headline, this case is not for everyone. Sideless cases, believe it or not, leave the sides open and "exposed." If you are able to get your mind past envisioning those sides getting all scratched up you will see that this case does more than expected when it comes to protecting your phone. I myself was very leery of a sideless case but the design is made so that it feels as if there is no case on the phone at all, and I barely feel the case as I hold my iPhone in my hands. on top of that, this case is perfectly designed to protect all areas (including sides) from drops (the man who designed this case makes his living off of a YouTube channel (everythingapplepro) where he drops phones in cases from a 40 foot tower, and this one survived). unless you drop your phone upon a floor with a bunch of spikes or rocks, your sides will not get scratched, and even if you did, it has a very high chance of not getting a single scratch. how do I know? As I stated before, I have carpel tunnel syndrome and I OFTEN drop my phone (and I am 6'2). it has hit gravel, sand, driveway, road, concrete...etc. I even dropped this super heavy phone on my tile floor in my bathroom and this case not only protected my phone, it protected my floor from getting chipped. The case is very grippy. it holds in the case (the phone does not easily come out) and it protects on all sides with three layers of protection. if I had a gripe it would be that I am not the biggest fan of kevlar or kevlar style printing on phone cases. I am actually using this until the frosted back series comes out. for now, I am happy due to its style, feel, and protection. and my greatest selling point (that is, the point that sold me) is that this phone offers better protection than the $70-$100 dollar models out there. 5 stars.

My favorite phone case I’ve ever used, period. It’s the first time I’ve had a case that doesn’t compromise the feel of the phone in my hand. It’s solid, tight and has a premium feel. Attention to detail shows through in this one. The black carbon fiber look on the Space Black 14 Pro is next level. Buttons feel great. If I had to pick one complaint, it’s that the back smudges a bit. But I got over that quickly as the soft material feels great to hold and wipes off easily. Smudges are really not noticeable unless you hold it at a certain angle in the light. Overall, excellent purchase—well worth the money, unlike many other options at this price point.

Happy with the case both for it's iPhone drop protection and the streamline design.
