very bright!
Very bright light. It's heavy (would make a very effective club in hand-to-hand combat!), but seems to have very good range for 'spotlight' function (hard to verify stated distance), and a very broad 'floodlight' function. I think the directions for use are complicated, and it takes a while to figure out how to get where I want to go with them. I haven't been successful in getting the strobe function to work-vital for personal protection and traffic control. I'm a volunteer firefighter and wanted a good light for search and rescue, as well as other duties and personal use.. Not sure about battery life or durability of the unit. Not sure about water resistance (hope it's good for this price!). Probably would buy again.
