Rayman Origins: PlayStation 3 Essentials (PS3)

I originally played this game on Xbox 360, then when that died I wasn't prepared not to have a copy so bought it again on PS3. I absolutely love this game. Whilst it can be frustrating at times, particularly in the later levels (as all platformers are wont to be) it is compelling fun. It's bright and colourful, the level design is fantastic, the challenge of fulfilling the end requirements to complete the levels, the choreography of the music levels, the music itself - I can't recommend it enough.If you like platformers, if you like Rayman, if you want to play a cutesy fun game with your kids or even for yourself as an adult (like me) you can do a lot worse than treating yourself to this.

I bought this game to play with my 7 year old son as multi-player (anything to stop playing mario-kart on the wii...) and we both really enjoy it, the game was easy enough for him to get the hang of and enjoy while being challenging enough as the levels progress for him not to get bored of straight away. As a 2 player game it is entertaining and as you can effectively bring players back to life if they die both of us stay involved through every level (unlike other games where you have to wait till the level ends or you have both died to rejoin which can be frustrating for younger players).All in all I would recommend this game for both children and those of us that have never grown up and remember when all platform games were side scrolling!

My kids loved Rayman Legends which we played first. I bought this when they (and I) had finished that game. This one is also good but the graphics are slightly dated compared to Rayman Legends and the progression is more linear so if I had to choose I’d go for the later version but overall it’s a fun game which is easy to pick up and visually appealing.

Yes another game for my son. It arrived very quickly and works fine, my son says it's a good game and rates it as 5 star.

Rayman Origins is a rare gem. It has everything I want in a game. It's bright, it's vibrant and most importantly it's fun to play. I have spent hours rescuing the Glade of Dreams and I have had such a blast playing doing so. The art work is amazing, beautiful, bright and the gameplay is smooth and sublime. The levels are well-thought out and that is greatly appreciated by me. Rayman Origins is my favourite platform game ever, it's streets ahead of anything else and I cannot wait for Rayman Legends.

My 14 year old son lives this game. It was on his birthday list so he was very pleased to receive it. Good quality product and cheap compared to high street

Pocas veces se puede decir que un juego salga tan redondo. Este Rayman es una obra de arte de las plataformas, un juego muy divertido, simpático y bien hecho. No esperaba que estuviese tan bien, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que no soy especialmente fan de las plataformas, pero es que este es un juegazo.Dicen que la continuación (Rayman Legends) es mejor. No lo sé, no lo he probado, pero veo muy complicado mejorar este. Me ha parecido un juego en mayúsculas. Se nota que está cuidado, trabajado, que el equipo que lo desarrolló lo hizo con ganas y fijándose en los detalles. Los gráficos, el humor "tontorrón", la propia personalidad del mundo y los personajes (se nota el estilo francés), la jugabilidad, el diseño de niveles... básicamente todo está a un gran nivel, sin descuidar nada. Y la música, que merece mención aparte, es una pasada. La de melodías pegadizas, originales y bastante variadas que adornan cada zona del juego es para recordar. Es uno de los puntos que más destacaría del juego, la banda sonora.No voy a enrollarme más, solamente destacar dos detalles: por un lado, si tuviese que ponerle una pega al juego es su duración... no es que sea corto, pero tampoco es largo, y como es muy ameno al terminarlo te quedas con ganas de más; por otro, el modo cooperativo: jugarlo solo está muy bien, pero con otra gente es cuando mejor se aprovecha, en mi caso lo jugué de principio a fin con mi hermano y no me pude divertir más, la de risas que nos echamos :PLo dicho, un juego recomendable para cualquiera, muy divertido y entrañable. Y especialmente cuidado, algo muy a valorar hoy en día visto cómo hacen la mayoría de juegos.

Gioco molto carino. Buona grafica. Molti schemi e quindi durevole. Molto bella la possibilità di giocare con molti giocatori contemporaneamente.
