Vegemite Yeast Extract, 220g

I prefer this to Marmite in texture and taste, it’s less messy and runny, and tastes amazing on toast when you’re craving something salty and savoury. It’s not easy to find in shops where I live so being able to order it is super convenient

Bought this as a Volkanovski fan and I almost died. It's so salty and so sour at the same time, does not taste bad itself but super strong. Product came in excellent condition.

I'm a "happy little Vegemite as bright as bright can be" since this arrived today, earlier than anticipated and in excellent condition as it was well packaged! It is the genuine article and I am enjoying the aroma of Vegemite as it was smeared on hot, buttery toast by my mother years ago... alas - I must wait to enjoy it as we are in the midst of the Corona Virus and we cannot find bread anywhere - Murphy's Law! Seriously though - if you grew up with this stuff, you have got to get some into you to keep you healthy and well balanced!

Vegemite is just amazing, what more can I say? I've been obsessed with it my whole life and have often spoon fed myself large portions of it straight out the jar (I do not recommend this! 😂) Best with butter on toast and if I'm feeling really gluttonous ill throw on some bacon too. Yum.

Just wanted some vegemite. Arrived broken. Non-returnable item, but what do you do when it arrives broken?! Not happy, not impressed, hungry for vegemite

You haven't LIVED until you've tried proper Vegemite on hot Buttered slabs of thick Tiger bread... You'll either love it or hate it, but if you like it, you'll come back for more. Marmite, it isn't btw.. The taste is subtely different, & it spreads differently, (more paste-like than runny, if that makes sense..).

It uniquely fills taste enjoyment on buttered toast in the morning.

Il Vegemite è uno di quegli alimenti che mettono alla prova al primo incontro: l’odore è intenso, deciso, quasi aggressivo, e può facilmente scoraggiare chi non lo conosce. Ma superata questa barriera iniziale, si apre un mondo di gusto sorprendente. La chiave è usarne pochissimo: una quantità minima è più che sufficiente. L’abbinamento perfetto? Una fetta di pane tostato caldo, spalmata prima con un velo di burro e poi con un accenno di Vegemite. Il contrasto tra la cremosità del burro e il sapore salato e umami del Vegemite crea una combinazione ricca, appagante e... inaspettatamente buona. Non è per tutti, certo, ma chi riesce a oltrepassare il primo impatto olfattivo scopre una piccola delizia unica nel suo genere, amatissima in Australia non a caso. Un gusto che divide, ma che vale la pena esplorare con mente (e naso) aperti.

A étaler en couche très fine sur une tranche de pain beurrée. Se marie bien avec un bon café. Goût particulier, qui ne plait pas à tout le monde mais que j'adore !
