This 201657-03S furnace hot surface ignitor worked exactly as expected. It fit my Goodman heater without any issues and installed easily. Once installed, the furnace fired right up and has been working properly since. Replacing this part myself saved me both the time and cost of having a repair technician come out. If you’re comfortable doing basic furnace repairs and need a replacement ignitor, this part is a great value.

Works great, fits the few houses I had to replace these in. My only recommendation is when you use this, you have to cut the end that has the connector on it. CUT THE CONNECTOR END FROM THE ORIGINAL IGNITOR AND WIRE NUT IT.

If I could rate this a zero, I would. It arrived on 1/27/2025. It was installed on 1/27/2025 with clean gloves on. It worked great. Now it is burnt out after 5 days of use.

My furnace went out on a Friday night and Saturday morning I found out that I am not able to go to a supply house and buy parts without a license, amazon came through with the part, although the delivery was supposed to be overnight and it took two days and a lot of complaints to the customer service. The part was easy to install and my furnace worked in five minutes and 40 dollars vs. waiting for a technician and a few hundred dollars. The only reason for four stars is I have a problem with Amazon promising delivery days and being constantly one or two days late, why pay for prime.

I have been using it for 2 winters now and it is still functioning perfect. I replaced mine myself. It wast not an exact replacement, but it works like an igniter should. Others I purchased before this one, broke on installation, as they would not go in the opening. ( I have an old furnace). So yes, an igniter is an igniter. I just had to wire it to the old igniter block the fasten it in its place. Thanks, great product.
