works well, it is a good value for the money. I got a new computer which mostly runs with USB-C inputs and I still have lots of notebook external hard drives that use the typical usb cable, and I didn't want to use an adaptor etc.. This is for sure a life saver, and using the cable now my hard drives can transfer at USB-C speed. I have had no connection issues. No mystery on how to use or install, you just plug 1 end to the hard drive and the other to the pc/ Mac. My Mac had no issue detecting the hard drive when using this cable. One thing I would change was maybe had gotten this a bit longer, the table is a good length but could have even about 1ft longer. Far as aesthetics, it is a nice well designed cable, If you still gotta connect it to the traditional usb input, it has an adaptor at the end of it

Over a year after purchase and being used by multiple grandchildren it’s performing just like the day I purchased it. No kinks or frayed wires. Still fits tightly to device charging point. Recommend.

I work on both Mac and PC and this cable is so handy so I can plug my drives into anything without digging out my own converters. The stock cable I was using for this drive was falling apart more and more everyday and I had only used it for one show. I move very large files onto this drive and after using this cable it sort of felt faster?? Don't quote me on that though. Regardless, it is a very nice cable, with a good length and durable sleeve. I also like the included cable tie to I can keep it coiled when I throw it back into my bag. Gonna load some very large files through this thing and might update if there are any issues. EDIT 2/10/23: Made it through my first gig with this thing, traveled great and transferred files fast. Definitely recommend if you use both Mac and PC frequently with your drives.
