We measured my daughter’s foot and ordered the size according to the size chart. They are slightly big, but should work with elastics sewn in. She’s using these to do exercises at home prior to her pointe evaluation. I wouldn’t recommend these for a pre professional dancer to use on a regular basis, but they are okay to do exercises at home with. They are decent for the money if your child wants to try pointe to see if they like it, but you’ll need the real deal for pointe classes and performances.

I bought these shoes for my daughter who has never used ballet shoes before. They came with the silicone training toes which is great! The shoes and inserts were decently made. The only complaint I have really is the ribbons and fit. We could not get the ribbons to stay tied. We watched a lot of videos how to tie the shoes but nothing seemed to work. The other problem we had was the shoes kept slipping off her feet when she tried to stand up in them. The back of her foot would slip out each time. We read online we could sew in an elastic piece but that’s too much work for me and really shouldn’t have to do that for ballet shoes.

They don’t really stay on I have to make some changes and don’t have time to return them but they are just for one night. I wouldn’t buy them for actual point .

Full disclaimer: I am an EX dancer who never formally went en pointe in my youth. I bought these for a photo shoot and knew I'd need to train pointe enough to have a successful shoot, so I was hoping for my purposes that they were functional enough. I do not know how they would work for an advanced/pre-professional/professional dancer.I worked in them (at the bar only, and as an extremely strong person) for a few months for the shoot and honestly, I loved them so much! They felt secure to work in and the toe padding and bag were super nice to have (I would have been in big trouble without those pads). Size matched the smaller end of my street shoe size range pretty well (bought a 9; street I'm 9-10), and I didn't have any issues with blistering at all. I was also super excited to find that I could use Pointe Paint to change the color very easily (it took 2 bottles for the color I needed to be PERFECT, but that was for high-def photos, not stage work from a distance).If I ever get around to getting back to formal ballet classes, I know I'll need a formal pointe fitting... but I'm old enough and cranky enough that I might bring these and see what the fitter says. I felt GOOD in these, and the price is unbeatable for the quality from what I've seen!

Great beginner shoes! My daughter wasn’t sure she would like pointe or not. I wanted her to get a cheaper pair of shoes to try and they are actually very nice beginner shoes.

If you're reading this there's a good chance you wanted the black pointe shoes, (and probably the tutu), because let's be honest, the black swan is more interesting!I highly recommend the shoes and I'll say that upfront. They are lovely, fit well, and my 40+ year old self finally has the black pointe shoes I didn't get to have as a kid.My suggestion is for middle aged black swans, or other roles you never got to dance in your teens... It's hard as HELL to get back on pointe again!!! It hurts!!! Best of luck to all of us! But, if you're needing to fulfill a childhood fantasy that involves specific toe shoes and a black tutu, you do you... I sure as hell have.As a product for fairly new active dancers, I think this is a good one. Buy the fancier stuff if you're still into it a few years later. 😉

I'm a size 8, and I bought a 8.5. Not only did they come late but my feet barley fit inside. I'm gonna have to return them and do an entire size up

J'ai pris une pointure plus grande mes un peut grande quand même. Ma fille a etait au cours de classique avec la prof a dis elle son très dure a cassé pas de très bonne calité mes bon je n'est pas les moyens d'aller dans une boutique de danse.

Bardzo dobre. Czuć że trzymają nogę i z są stabilne. Na pierwsze baletki do tańca polecam. Jedyny problem co miałam gumowe wkładki nie mogłam wsadzić do baletków . Ja bym proponowała materiałowe wkładki na palce.
