I recently picked up the hobby of coin collecting & always wanted to get a metal detector. I started off small just to dig in my backyard to see how this works & I was quite impressed. Sound quality:Personally I like the vibration of it with the sound together. If you’re in a louder environment​I recommend both. Why did you pick this product vs others?:The price was affordable compared to others & had great reviews so thought I’d give it a shot.Vibration level:Vibration level is perfect Weight:Very light which I appreciate Ease of use:Extremely easy to use Fun:Very fun as well I had my nephews digging with me. I think I’ll get them one to have and use Metal detector:I found a quarter a few pennies & a couple dimes. Some random nails & metals as well. I took it to the beach also & found a couple coins.Overall happy with this purchase.

Oh gosh, I had this for a year until I tested it on my gold hoops! It didn't beep at all! I will say that until I realized that it didn't pickup on some thin gold items, I had much fun with it. As far as price goes, I feel it was a good quality, battery life was amazing, very simple and easy to use. It has good weight and feels sturdy and is waterproof. I passed this onto my grandson who will have a great time using it. I paid 3X's more for a new brand which I'm happy with, but this is a "fun for the price" thing that kids will have fun with...but it doesn't pick up on my thin gold jewlery

My husbands wedding ring fell off while doing yard work and hanging Xmas lights so I ordered this same day delivery and it worked great and we were quick to find it his ring quickly!

I found the Pinpointer to be very accurate. The problem I have is the on/off button has malfunctioned or broke after only 2 months.
