OrthoMole B Gon Mole and Vole Repellent Ready-To-Use Hose End Attachement, 32-Ounce

I actually used this for armadillos, I paid a company to treat for armadillos, they charged $150 and they came back a week later and I showed them the holes which they acknowledged. Their product did not work. I was a one time application so if I wanted them to do it again it would be another $150! I decided to purchase two bottles of this product until I could have a fence installed since one of my neighbors told me that the armadillos would take the path of least resistance (our properties back up to a federally protected preserve) and the people who have installed fences haven't had problems. This worked really well. My grass filled back in nicely which was great since I sodded it earlier this spring. I would recommend this product.

Was hoping it would work but it didn't. The first day didn't see any signs of the mole, second day I did. He wasn't affected by this product at all. Very disappointed. Waste of money

I followed directions as directed. Actually sprayed it twice inside and outside garden perimeter with 5 days. They say it should last up to 30 days. Voles still came in the garden. Granted some may have been in there when we sprayed but we did see some run out across both bands of spray. I would say product effectiveness is inconclusive. It did not work for us and we had high hopes. Very simple and clean to use. Went to poison and traps.

Mole be gone seems to be an effective remedy to rid your property of moles. Once you spray your property you will see increased mole activity. The only negative I have with this product is that it smells a bit and lingers for a few days. It may be a good idea to spray when you will not spend a lot of time outdoors.

The 32 oz container of Ortho Mole B Gon was supposed to cover approximately 5000 sq ft. Spraying as directed, I used the entire bottle on 2000 sq ft of lawn, since it is practically impossible to control the amount that is mixed with water in the hose applicator. I sprayed Saturday afternoon. Monday morning I found the mole dead, on it's back, on the part of the lawn that I sprayed. I contacted Ortho to find out how the product worked. They sent me the material safety data sheet (MSDS) on Ortho Mole B Gon. From the information on the MSDS, Ortho Mole B Gon is not toxic. So, I still don't know why my mole died. I'm very pleased that I no longer have a mole problem very soon after using the product. I attribute this to Ortho Mole B Gon. That is why I give it a four star rating. However, since the product (I presume) killed the mole, rather than repelling the mole as advertised, I am left to wonder exactly how toxic Mole B Gon is, and to what organisms it is toxic. I did not give it a five star rating because of this unanswered question.

I tried this in my yard where I’ve been having a mole problem, did not help at all.

I sprayed this bottle in a full perimeter and then went back and sprayed my whole back yard plus perimeter overlapping . It worked for maybe 1 week.
