I did not wait for an answer to my question as to whether yarn would go through these - I wanted them to crochet with. The fact is that the yarn will thread through most of them (using soft yarn prob med wt or larger). The holes are not uniform size in each of the beads so some I have to set aside. Also discovered that if one hole in the bead is too small, sometimes just turning the bead around and threading through the other hole works. they are really nice and just what I need for my project.

These are pretty, I bought them to use as filler in the bottom of a vase. These don't work great for that purpose, as some of them float. The holes punched through their center are only punched through on one end of a lot of them. So I will finish punching the hole through and maybe they'll sink. Overall they are nice looking. The package stinks when you first open it, so i'd recommend opening a couple days before using these.

I used these for part of my wedding centerpieces. They looked amazing and I got so many compliments.WARNING: these are flammable and if they get to close to a candle they will catch on fire.

These beads are nice - pretty - however, the holes aren't through and through - it takes a little work to get your wire or thread through the holes

I used the beads to make a bag. The beads were uniform, same color and holes were same size. Less than a small handful of 2 beads fused together and I made toys for my cats with them. I would buy them again.

This size is perfect and is just what I was looking for! I am going to have to order more in the future. I also liked how they added the pearls in a cute drawstring bag! That just made the product even better cause of how cute it looked!
