I had built my own box like this and it worked well but started coming apart sp I got this one to replace it with.This is built like a tank, really(!) well designed, high quality materials and I'm super happy with it. This one has the cut out handle holes that mine didn't and that's definitely a useful feature!I won't be needing to replace this one anytime soon!!

Couldn’t build one from plywood for less! Very easy to assemble. I had no issues with hardware or the screws - I started them by hand and tightened with a driver. I added a couple of drywall screws to the internal brace because I was worried about it wiggling around. Quality is solid and I have no worries it’ll last a long time.

I marked off 1 star because the listing doesn't specify that the 12"x14"x16" box does not come with cross supports. By all means, it doesn't need them, but I did pay a couple extra dollars for this product because it claimed to have that extra feature. Also, the instructions are "laffabol". They get the sounds and intentions correct, but is otherwise just added entertainment value.Otherwise, the box seems really sturdy! It went together easily. The corners are all well sanded. It is a lighter color wood than other boxes I've seen, but that's just an observation. However the screw holes are not countersunk. They, uh, will countersink on their own if you keep tightening... I tightened mine so that they sat just below the surface of the wood (to prevent any floor scratching/catching) and the only minor issue was that a couple holes mildly closer to the edge chipped at the edges. It's plywood so it was just the thinnest ever top layer that chipped off and not a big deal. The screws are hex heads with a wide brim. I legitimately had one extra screw leftover (see picture to get an idea of why they're not countersunk)I do like the handle placement better than my old box. The top of the handles are 2 1/8" from the top of the box, which allows me to actually get the meat of my palm on top when doing elevated pushups. My prior box required ...a lot of lateral grip to do those pushups.

Very happy with this. The wood is very nicely finished, holes are all properly placed. The inner supports add durability to it. I did add wood glue to the edges of the supports, and it is rock solid. Going to purchase another one soon in a different size.

This is a sturdy product that will make you feel secure when you jump on it. I'm 55 years old/195 lbs. and I've made it to the 30 inch box jumps--so anyone can do it. Buy without hesitation and look forward to reaching your fitness goals.

I have assembled my box (30x24x20) yesterday and have done my first work out using it this morning. I am very happy with my purchase. The box is very sturdy, good material and easy to assembly, but please, do yourself a favor and use a hand drill to put all the bolts, they are a lot.All the holes were spot on.

I bought this for my track team and use with my personal training clients. It’s easy to put together and very sturdy. Saved a ton of time and money on building my own version.

Why is it so hard to provide decent instructions? Tips. Use cordless drill with hex tip. Don't over tighten. Take a quick look at the instructions and then before using screws just piece it together to make sure you have it right. Disassemble and then use screws. Place the inner support in but do not screw into the side panels before all box sides are attached. If you are a little off the top won't fit. Otherwise the box is very sturdy and fits the bill.
