Finally a solution that works incredibly well.
(A review having experienced other products)I have a multi fuel stove in which I burn wood and coal, (not at the same time) I like to keep the glass clean so I have to clean it every day, and it has always been one of the worst chores to maintain my stove.First I tried HG stove glass cleaning spray, which works like an oven cleaner. You spray the foam onto the glass leave for 5 mins then clean off with a cloth. It works fairly well removing light to medium blackening on the glass, but trust me on heavy patches your going to need some elbow grease, but it does work. However, the main problem was it's a foam spray and it goes everywhere on the door and rope, the spray splatters and marks the stove, and the foam will drip down onto the hearth. So I decided to try a paste cleaner to avoid the issues of using a spray. I bought Dirtbusters stove glass cleaning paste. Although I didn't get the issues that I got from using a spray it still takes a lot of effort and didn't work as well as the spray.I finally decided to try these little sponge/steel wool pads. They arrived this morning and I decided to give them a go straight away. The results were amazing! A job that used to take 5-10 minutes and a lot of effort took just 60 seconds with little to no effort at all. They are basically a sponge with 0000 steel wool on one side. The wool does an excellent job at easily removing even the most stubborn stains. It only requires the lightest of pressure. I was concerned they might scratch the glass so I used the lightest of touch which basically polished off the marks. The sponge side will clear the dust/residue left behind after polishing with the wool.Trust me, don't bother with any of the chemical cleaners these are more effective. And depending how long these last I might just buy some 0000 grade steel wool..

Less effort see through shine!
I saw my chimney sweep using a wire type pad and was amazed at how clean it left the door which I’ve always struggled getting clean. He suggested a brand which is more expensive than these but I thought at this price there was nothing to lose in giving them a go.I am so happy. Save about £7 and these pads work brilliantly. The wire pad doesn’t leave any scratch marks amazingly but simply leaves the glass gleaming as hopefully the photo shows. I find them easy to use you don’t use any product with them not even water just dry. They fit in the palm of your hand and with minimal effort remove stubborn black and brown marks. Great results every time. Very happy and can definitely recommended.Edit:Jan. 2021Having used these for a while now slowly but surely we’ve noticed the glass more and more difficult to clean. In those areas which are always harder to clean ie the bottom of glass door it’s really difficult to get the deposits off. As another reviewer stated it seems like the cleaners do scratch the glass albeit microscopically meaning deposits sort of get ingrained. As a temporary measure to remove stubborn stains initially is fine but in my opinion not good for the glass for long term use.

Very handy and do the job
I bought these as a cheap add-on to an order. They work very well and clean the gunk off the glass door of my multi-fuel burner very easily and quickly. A little water is all that is needed and the crud comes off, without damaging the glass. The abrasive pad is made of a wire wool and it's a good idea to wear kitchen gloves to avoid getting bits of wire wool stuck in your fingers. Also the wire wool is not stainless and will go rusty if the pads are left damp. But they are very good for the price.

Really handy, a must for flickering firelight during the winter months!
Unless you're lucky enough to have a ClearView stove the accumulated soot on stove windows can block the warm and toasty glow. You can, I've heard, use scrunched up newspaper or wire wool to clean stove windows but as replacement glass is very expensive and I'm in a rented property I didn't want to take any chances. To be honest, cleaning my stove is also quite low down on my list of domestic job priorities so I also hoped buying this product would encourage me to do it more often. Which it certainly has! The extra fine wire wool works a treat, doesn't leave any scratches and takes a matter of seconds to get all the soot off. Granted, my first few attempts didn't remove everything, partly because of years of built up and baked on dirt and partly because I was being a bit too gentle. But once I realised I definitely wasn't going to cause any damage and gave the glass a good scrub its worked perfectly. The end result is so satisfying I've also cleaned several of my friends stoves for them too and need to re-order as they wanted to keep the pads after I'd finished!

These sponge like cleaning pads arrived very quickly - full marks for that. I used then immediately to clean off a very tar laden and sooty window on my wood stove (why does it get so bad...I use very dry wood and follow all the "rules"). The pads worked well when used in combination with spray-on sugar soap. With a small effort, the glass was cleaned. These pads are sponge on one side and rough on the other - perhaps a nylon or similar material. Essentially, they are the same as a kitchen scourer pad. I can't see the difference. Perhaps the seller could elaborate? So - all marks for effectively working but only three stars as I think I could have used cheap kitchen scouring pads just as well.
