This is a beautiful boot, the leather looks very high-quality. The shaft of the boot is on the slightly, slightly narrow side. So if you have a larger Calf and you like the boot tight to your calf then this is good for you. But if you have a slightly larger calf and you want a loser shaft, this may not do for you.

I needed a perfect black cowboy boot and I found them. They are really, really comfortable, certainly gorgeous boots and I'd recommend them to anyone. I have absolutely no complaints and would buy them again. Good luck!

These boots are gorgeous!!! They are a bit small and the opening is small for my calves and arch. I took them to the local boot shop and they stretched them without any issues. It took about a week but it was worth the wait. Did I say they are gorgeous? The store wants to carry them and other people who have seen them love them. It is so hard to find just the right pair of solid black boots especially with the right heel and toe. These have clean lines and they are sooooo comfortable. I wore them all day without any issues. Sooooooo clad I found them!

Dan Post are the best fitting - right out of the box boots I've ever worn. They are true to size, average fitting in the calves and so easy to slip on and off - perfect shaft. I can walk in these for hours and hours. I think some of the best made boots I've ever worn.

I have another pair of Dan Post boots that are very comfortable. I took these to have them stretched and they fit a little better, but are not as comfortable as my others. Would not purchase again. I should have sent them back, but needed a pair of black boots.
