OXO Good Grips Peg Dish Rack

Great drainer, sturdy and a great design. It fits lots of items in and can easily take large and heavy items. The design makes it so flexible and will take objects of all sizes. The cutlery drainer can be moved around or taken off to create extra space. It can be used over a sink drainer or over a worktop, where the removable tray catches water and can be repositioned to drain excess water into the sink, so you can have it at any angle you want. If it is over a drainer you can remove the tray to allow it to drain as with any other draining rack. If you use the tray you can tip the rack to drain the tray when it is empty, but as with anything that catches water the tray needs cleaning at regular intervals, but unclips and clips back on easily.

Been using this for a few weeks now - it's a great solution to drainage on a quartz top (drainer grooves do not work in my experience) and it looks good whilst actually holding a fair amount of things to drain via the repositionable outlet on the bottom. It's shiny so needs regular cleaning to look its best but is well made and has nice touches like rounded ends on the spikes to hold delicate items securely with no damage. Compact and a great solution to drainage in my new gloss kitchen.

We have searched high & low for our perfect drainer to replace our old broken one & this is definitely it :-) We have a dishwasher so this is mainly for sports water bottles, travel mugs, the non-stick frying pan & other non dishwasher items.Unlike most of the other ones we looked at this is big enough for us, we do hang the cutlery rack on the outside to give us more space on the inside. The pegs are nice & strong too.In fact we have been very impressed with the design & quality of every OXO Good Grips product we have brought over many years.

This is a great design - the rubber pegs hold glasses in place and also allow you to stack plates / boards etc in several ways. The attachable drain tray means no more water stains on the worktop. I took advice from someone who had posted (on Amazon I think) that it's best to only attach the drain tray at the end furthest from the sink, so that there is a slope, allowing water to drain off and not just sit in the tray - this works very well.I'm giving 4 rather than 5 stars as the cutlery drainer is not very tall - it's ok for cutlery but not so good for larger items like wooden spoons and other cooking utensils.I would have preferred it in black or dark grey to blend in better with my dark worktop but there was only one colour option - something Oxo could consider.

Mindful of the criticisms of this dish drainer, I run it under the tap regularly so there is no soap scum build up. I discovered the 'peg' feature of draining racks while in a holiday cottage - normally I would have been sceptical about this design, but I was converted when I used one. It really is versatile. The high sides of this rack allow a generous amount of washing-up to be held securely and to drain effectively. The pegs are particularly useful for glasses of varying sizes , but plates , large and small, chopping boards and bowls are held equally effectively. Let's not get too excited: a draining rack is a draining rack after all, but I am very pleased with the way it looks and performs.. 5*

This replaced a Joseph Joseph sink drainer which was good, but slightly too large for our new sink and drainer. I liked the peg system on the JJ and the Oxo uses this system too, but with also a flatter part, which is really useful. It is designed so that you can use it landscape or portrait, another practical feature. The best bit are the metal runners either side, ideal for drying out your washing up cloth or mitt. A really great feature.

****Edit: 25 Jan 2021 - the drip tray doesn’t clip on to the bottom anymore, causing a leak. Can’t use it on my countertop anymore.*****Very steady. I put my large wooden chopping board to drain on it and it doesn’t fall. Water drips down the spout quite well, just ensure that you clip in the bottom grey tray properly and it will not disappoint you. Some people moaned that the water doesn’t drip down but not sure why, maybe they need to have their countertops levelled. Cleaning might be an issue if u don’t have a dishwasher as it would take long to hand clean all bits between the pegs. I put it in a dishwasher regularly and it comes out like new.

Works really well and looks great. Initially I thought it was too small but all my saucepans and chopping boards, fit snug and well in the space. I put mine once a week in the dishwasher and it comes out brand new again!

En realidad quería algo mas grande por que aveces se nos juntan los trastes pero la verdad (pero de plástico no hay muchos opciones grandes) si puedo decir es muy bonito, resistente, elegante y me quedo muy satisfecho del producto.

I looked for over a month trying to find a dish drying rack that was reasonably priced, attractive, sturdy, and functional. I looked at hundreds! One of the things that was really important was something that would work with a raised lip sink, which makes draining awkward.Well, after buying and using it for almost 2 months I can report I am extremely happy with my purchase. I can put an amazing amount of dishes in it and everything stacks nicely, plus the drain functionality and utensil holder is great. I like that it has little legs so there's some breathing space underneath. I place it on a dish drying pad, so that the pad sits beyond the back of it by about 6 inches and I can put items there also. (Large knives, ladles, etc.)Don't laugh, but it's a pleasure to do the dishes now. I will try to upload some photos tomorrow. I really like the look of it in my kitchen.

Egouttoir vaisselle très design,beaucoup de place pour mettre la vaisselle,très pratique pour sécher les gourdes ou biberons,il est robuste et très stable.
