If you like behemoth now you'll find this early stuff a bit hard to listen to,personally I love the early vibe of behemoth,black metal as it gets listening to this on vinyl is the way to hear it

Heavy, fast and brutal. Packaging intact and arrived when described.

Awesome album and really happy with it, it arrived in time... But I have one issue.. There is a missing song on the album, and I can't find any info on why, besides that I'm super happy with this in my collection, this is before Behemoth changed and went down a different path in music. I prefer the old Behemoth

ポーランド出身ブラックメタル・バンド、Behemothが1996年に出した2ndアルバムです。現在はデスもブラックも呑み込み総合的なエクストリーム・バンドとしての地位を確立している彼らですが、初期の頃は純度100%のピュア・ブラックをやっていました。前作同様、徹底的に寒々しいモノクロームの情景が展開されています。前作との比較点を挙げるなら、前作は高音絶叫系がメインだったヴォーカルが、中音域のガナリ声、もっと荒々しい雄叫び、朗々としたクリーンヴォーカルを多用していること。シンセやアコースティックギターを取り入れているのは前作同様ですが、フォーク／ペイガン的な要素を強めている点などが挙げられます。作風としては、Ulverの1stに近いかもしれません。邪悪な雰囲気と神秘性・土着性が融合し、寒冷地の広大な針葉樹林を思わせる雰囲気で、ピュアなブラックメタルからさらに表現の幅を広げた作品です。民族的要素も色濃く出ており、Behemothのアルバムの中ではかなり異色な作品と言えるかもしれません。吹雪のように荒れ狂うパートから、陽の光は差さないまでも穏やかなパートまで、冬の自然を音楽で描き出した、これはこれで傑作と呼べる内容です。

excellent debut album by a black metal band which has surpassed many of those influenced by them including a band which once were the masters of "killing christians" or claiming to loathe those whom are in the minds of evil. Behemoth wins!!!
