Works well, smells good if you like citrus
I actually really like this product. I'm still not convinced any product gets the pheromones completely out but I really do like the pleasant orange scent of this. It worked well for the spots upstairs. I need to load this into my carpet cleaner for the old spots downstairs now. I don't smell cat urine anymore upstairs when it gets damp/humid. I do downstairs though and I never used this product down there. So, I need to buy another blue bottle and carpet clean down there and get the spots the previous cats left us. The blue bottle was for old spots (24 hours or older) and the orange is for newer/fresher spots. They are half gallon containers and the instructions for how to use are written right on the bottles (flow chart included)..

Best stain remover for not just pet stains
I’ve never had a pet drain remover work as well as these products. It removes pet stains from rugs immediately. I use it on all sorts of stains other than from my pets. Can’t say enough good things about it. Oh, and I have a puppy and two cats.

It does work.
Edit: 12/27/24: So yes. I did purchase this again. And yeah. The blue bottle. After putting a little of it in a spray bottle- and using it where I needed, and even though I’ve paid attention to how much of it I’m using, it’s hard for me to continue to justify the cost of it.Except for the fact that it does work well. And for some people, that fact is priceless. . There’s just not enough of the blue bottle for me though. And that type of cleaner is what I need more of.Original Review: (edited and added a few details)It does work and extremely well actually.I used step 2 very quickly in a spray bottle and in a full size carpet steamer, and I’ve used both in the washer and sprayed directly on fabric. It did have a lot of bubbles/foam in the carpet cleaner machines dirty water reservoir, I might have added to much though, to be fair. Also when I used step 1 on my white rug, I felt like I could see a faint orange tinge wherever I sprayed it. But after using the carpet cleaner/extractor (with a diluted cleaning solution and water), the faint orange tinge was gone.My cat has used the laundry basket for a litter box.. I think because my son neglected to clean out her litter box and she protested, is usually what seems to be happening..At any rate, I have used Odoban bio stain formula and the (non pro) carpet 3n1 formula, and I have used oxy clean. And BioKleen pet formula. So far, I feel like both step 1 and 2 work better and faster than all of them. For both stain and odors..I’d like to try and compare now with odoban professional carpet 3n1. And update again. But when budget allows- I’ve over extended it.However.. I feel like I’ve used a lot more of this product. And the instructions say if you are only going to use 1 product - and not sure how old the stain is- or in doubt - use step 2.I’m not entirely certain that step 1 has enzymes? For sure step 2 does. And step 2 pro tip says it can be used in carpet steamer/cleaner..The instructions for both bottles don’t mention if it’s temperature sensitive.I’m assuming it’s ok because of using it in a steam cleaner- at least step 2.. But that one does mention the enzymes on the bottle. And I would think- based on other products I’ve used- that heat in particular might make it less effective.However. I have not noticed heat altering its effectiveness.I have used it on carpet. On rugs. And our unfortunate laundry - I thought I was going to have to throw out.4 ounces added to a load of laundry - added in when the water level was nearly full. And detergents as usual.1 wash. And zero trace of any bad smells. It appears to work good on stains as well.I wish it came with different sizes and a better price. As much as I really love how it works so good- it’s rather pricey in comparison to its competitors, that maybe aren’t as quickly effective, but is generous with the amount and a lesser price point..IDK.I can’t believe I’ve used it all. And I still need it.So I might buy it again and then see how long the next one lasts.I was desperate and out for a minute until this came. And maybe I went overboard - because it really was incredibly effective afterwards. Maybe I didn’t need to use as much. And as soon as step 2 was gone, it didn’t take long for step 1, I’m nearly out..I’m going to order again. And try using less this time..It also takes awhile for it to work.Decisions.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cleans Well, But Odor Comes Back After a Few Days
I bought the Calyptus Pet Stain and Odor Remover specifically to clean and prevent pet urine stains on carpet. My dog has separation anxiety, and rare accidents happen so I needed something that could tackle both the stains and the smell.Stain Removal & Works Well:It does a good job lifting fresh stains. I’ve used it multiple times now and haven’t had issues with the carpet looking dirty afterward—it definitely works well for cleaning.Smell & Removal Ability:The smell of the product itself is really nice—fresh and not overwhelming—but the big downside for me is that the pet odor comes back after it dries. It seems like the product only temporarily deodorizes, and a few days later, the urine smell starts creeping back in. That was disappointing, since I bought this mainly for odor control.Size:You get a decent amount of product for the price, so no complaints there. It should last a while even with regular use.Leakage:The bottle came well-sealed, and I’ve had no issues with leakage or faulty spraying.Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for a product that cleans stains and smells good temporarily, this will do the trick. But if your main goal is long-term odor removal on carpet, it might fall a little short. Giving it 3 stars for solid cleaning ability but lacking staying power on odor control.
