The only book that my son has that he engages with the sounds and letters. Good story too

Great enjoyment even for the adult story-teller to decide how to best pronounce the various 'Q' sounds. Even my 9 year old grandson enjoyed reading it to his younger brother.

Fun to read with children

I bought this for a grandchild who is in the process of trying to master phonics. It’s been very successful as it is so amusing - holding the attention of the young reader is half the battle. I’m not totally au fait with the intricacies of the phonics system but I’m told that this book (this series in fact) meets all requirements. So, very pleased indeed.

My 3 and 5 year old are now huge fans of Kes Gray and Jim Fields. Great addition to Oi Dog and Oi Frog and How many legs. We love the attention to details with this book titled Kes Gr y ;). I recommend these books and this author for early readers who enjoy humour
