I recently purchased this 90-degree USB Type A adapter and I'm very happy with it. It has been a great addition to my setup as I use it on my monitor's side USB port to prevent USB devices from sticking straight out, which can be inconvenient.The adapter is well-made and the 90-degree angle is perfect for my needs. It works flawlessly and I haven't had any issues with data transfer or power delivery. The adapter also fits snugly into the USB port, ensuring a secure connection.However, I do want to remind others that these adapters only turn in one direction, so be mindful of the orientation when plugging in your USB device. Every time I plugged my USB hub into it, Windows popped a message that a USB device failed and the hub did not work. Luckily, I had another hub and it seems to work fine with it. An external USB HDD worked fine as well. I tried the other adapter and everything worked fine with it so I guess it is just the adapter with the blue inside that is picky.

I'm always leery of products like these that are not name brand, like Anker, Belkin, etc. I often find their marketing and descriptions to be a little less than honest. Plus, either the reviews are all 5 star vine reviewers who received the product for free, or else they're 5 star reviews from recently activated accounts with no other reviews. And the kicker is is products like the 90 degree adapter, cables, power strips, etc., while seemingly inconsequential or unimportant, I often find to be the proverbial turd in the punchbowl when not working correctly because it's usually the last place you troubleshoot. All of that said, on with the review...Pros:1. It does what it says. I have a powered docking station and connected to it are two DisplayPort cables (2 monitors), four USB A cables (document scanner, small speaker, printer, graphics pad) and two USB A dongles (wireless keyboard/mouse and flash drive). And from said docking station runs a USB B 3.0 to a USB A 3.0 which is connected to the AreMe 90 Degree USB 3.1 Adapter and finally plugged into my laptop. I am happy to report that my computer and all of its peripherals are working flawlessly. To be honest, I am thoroughly impressed. Like it's some kind of sorcery. All of that equipment boiled down to one cable, and then through a 90 degree adapter, and it all somehow works. Amazing.Cons:1. None as of yet. Time will tell. I'll edit if anything change.Summary:At this time I highly recommend this little adapter. If you do purchase one, make sure you get the right one. Depending on what side of your laptop you're using, or how you want your cable angled, you're going to have to choose between a left side or right side.

My 2 monitor setup is flanked by giant, well monitors, but of the sound variety. All are so big that I ran out of desk and they are literally touching each other at some points. My Dell monitor has a 4-port hub built in with 2 of the ports being on the side and these adapters were a perfect solution. They fit real flush to the port and panel and now I can use the ports on the front, well side, again and not fiddle in the back blindly anymore.

I have a laptop with usbs that are in typical spots that get bent and smacked when sitting in a recliner. Sometimes I fall asleep and they get pressure put on them. Well, NO MORE. I bought these to create a situation where the items lay flat on the side of my laptop. No more issues. Plus, they are a stylish which is a bonus.Good value for money. They do the job without any issues. Plug and play. A+
