The white are not white, they're more of a beige to match the colouring of the dreambaby gate. These do match the fixtures of the dreambaby retractable gate perfectly. I did need to watch a YouTube video on how to fit the gate and extenders which is step by step and easy to understand, it looks decent up and does its job. The extenders are secure and do not move when pressure is applied to the gate.

Did exactly what they were supposed to.

These worked a treat. Everything you need is included and they're relatively easy to fit. I didn't have any issues with the quality of them.Just to confirm, you only need 1 packet of these to fit 1 gate. I ordered 2 and ended up sending one back.They're a little expensive for what they are, though that said, they 'work' and there are no other out of the box options. Having said that, it was a shame they weren't just included with the gate given the price of it!

If you aren't fitting the retractable gate to a flat wall you have to buy these which leads me to wonder why they aren't just included with the safety gate?!They are easy to fit and the instructions are easy to use.

These spacers do exactly what they say and allow the gate to be hung where there is a skirting board or similar present. They come in two parts to allow for variations in thunckness which is good. However they are essentially just a couple of bits of molded plastic and are, in my opinion, overpriced. That said if you do want to mount the gate over skirting then they are essential.These were easy to put up and the whole instalation only took a few minutes. Given the that these were bought on top of the near £50 for the gate this is not a cheap stair gate. Just as a caution as I am not reviewing the gate itself but it is not sturdy and our puppy (11 weeks old) shredded it the second time we used it.

Easy to assemble and to attach your gates to. The sizes were perfect to the skirting boards.

Practical. Fit for purpose

Ours are greyer than the ones in the picture and match the fittings for the stairgate perfectly, looking very neat. Could have used a block of wood for the same purpose but this saved the bother of cutting it to size, drilling holes in the right places, sanding rough edges etc and made fitting the stairgate quick and easy. The spacers consist of 2 layers so, as we have quite shallow skirting boards, we were able to use just the top layer to get a perfect fit. The packaging says detailed fitting instructions for the spacers come with the stairgate but they don't, however it's pretty obvious how to fit them once you get them out of the pack. The wall plugs that come with the gate are pretty rubbish though-would recommend getting some better ones and using the appropriate sized drill bit for them-the instructions say you need a 4mm masonry drill bit but this isn't big enough as the screws are 4mm so need a bigger bit to make space for the wallplugs too.

Really, really easy to add to your retractable gate if you have a baseboard. Glad we purchased this!

Works great as advertised!! We have rounded steps at the bottom of the staires and other gates would not work against the railing. This gate works awesome and gives us the piece of mind of not havering to worrying about our small children constantly climbing the steps.

We love the Dreambaby retractable gate, and these spacers helped to bring it out from the wall so it could be installed. Easy to install and works great!
