Excellent grooming scissors and getting 2 different sizes is very good value. I bought them primarly to cut the hair around my Collie's paw pads. She is very good and lets me manually trim the hair, but never had sharp but safe scissors to do a good job. But recently I bought a pet mini electric trimmer and although it trimmed the hair very well she did not like the trimming blade sensation. And not wanting to cause her stress I bought these scissors. I chose them because of the many 5☆ reviews and I am not disappointed. They are lightweight, comfortable to use and the blades are very sharp and trims through thufts of hair with no problems. I am so impressed with them that I will buy another set to keep so I know I have replacements if ever needed. The rounded tips of the blades gives confidence that there will be no harm to the pet by poking accidently. Really pleased I finally have found an excellent safe grooming scissors for pets that are small enough for delicate areas. A really good value buy that is excellent quality and performance. I would definitely recommend.

Ordered a clipper and these scissors because my Shih Tzu was due for a groom just after lockdown started. Was really nervous about doing it myself but I don’t want his coat to get matted, we don’t know how long lockdown will last. I watched a couple of YouTube tutorials and tried them out yesterday. I am really pleased with my first attempt.There are 2 sizes of scissors in the pack. There is a small pair, which I used for his paws. They are easy to use and comfortable to hold because of the grip. They are sharp enough to cut through my dogs thick hair no problem and the rounded end means you can’t accidentally stab them. I used the larger ones to tidy up his body after using the clippers. I would say these scissors are probably not designed for a professional groomer but they are more than enough for the beginner so I would definitely recommend. I’ll try and post a before and after photo.

Great scissors, easy to hold and use.smaller pair not serrated as per description but doesn’t bother me.I’m ordering another pair for my sister and her pup.

I had previously purchased a shaver set that cane with the scissors. Unfortunately they are blunt after minimal use.I purchased these ones as a replacement and am very happy with them. Both pairs have plastic handles and are very comfortable for my fingers.I especially like the rounded edges which help avoid accidental nicks and cuts.So far the scissors are cutting very well and I have made use of both pairs. The hold is very comfortable and the cut is perfect. The scissors appear sharp and of good quality.Im happy with this purchase.

I adopted a Samoyed x Shepherd and his coat and grooming really needed some TLC. Although we don't want to cut his beautiful coat (we got most of the matting out with a slicker and comb), we wanted to clean up the amount of hair he has around his paws. By trimming his paw fluff, it has given him a bit more grip around the house and less dirt gets trapped in the hair.My dog reacted really well to the scissors (pretty much wasn't bothered by them). If your dog is younger, you may want to warm them up to the scissors by rewarding treats when placing them next to them and also fake-cutting near their paws etc to see how they respond.The scissors have rounded ends to avoid any nicks and cuts if your dog moves suddenly. For the most part, my dog was okay, but he was a bit fidgety on his back paws. The scissors are sharp and if your dog doesn't like loud noises, these are fairly quiet.Definitely add these to your grooming supplies for trimming paws and the face area, depending on your breed of dog!

... to the groomers during lockdown so I bought a pair of clippers to tidy her up for just a couple of times. However I felt pleased with my efforts so will keep on doing it.For keeping her 'fluffy bits' neat I found with ordinary scissors the hair 'slipped' as I cut and I got an uneven jagged finish. I was also scared I might poke and hurt her with the points if she moved unexpectedly. The blades of these cut 'cleanly', both the plain & the serrated; and when I poked myself with the 'knobs' it didn't hurt. The handles are comfy to hold and the blades open & close easily. The different sizes will be ideal for intricate places such as eyes/toes and where you need to 'shape' like tails and ears.Came very quickly, well packed for transport and easy to open. Sales packaging attractive and would make a nice present. I am pleased with my purchase and will update if needs be.

I'm left handed and use these scissors. I normally buy lefty but I was advised to buy some bull ended scissors for college. I was a bit fed up of paying more for lefty scissors so bought these because they were a great price for 2 pairs of scissors. Thinking I wouldn't need them much but would be handy to have if I needed them.For the price they are a steel! I use them quite frequently during dog grooming for eyes and ears, and feet for nervous dogs.They are sharp and for the price they are brilliant. I recommend them to everyone because they are just so good for the money.
