Great product
Really great joystick replacements for the PS5 controller. Used almost everything that came with this product. My two controllers were experiencing the stick drift on the left joystick, very annoying. Had both controllers repaired with these. Make sure to use an electric soldering vaccum pump. I threw a dab of the soldering wire on the tip of the solder, put it over one of the metal terminals and boom, easy! Functionality is great so far, no issues and it feels like the original. Good investment if you know what you're doing, and if you don't, there are quite a few videos for reference. Great purchase..

Worked perfectly
Had a drifting stick that pushed hard on left and did this replacement. This part worked perfectly and fit the holes exactly. It was easy to install. The hardest part was removing the old stick. Use solder paste to help melt the solder. Otherwise, it’s a struggle to get the solder out. Soldering the new part in takes only a minute.

You may not need to solder if you're having stick drift issues
I bought these by mistake thinking they were hall effect sticks. I was hesitant to continue with my project to fix my left stick drift, until I saw a YouTube video called "How to take apart your ps5 controller and fix Stick Drift" from a channel called Restore Technique. In the video, it shows that these sticks have these small circular discs on the x and y axis that could be the root cause of drifting, possibly due to a lubricant that was added that got mucky. The video showed how to carefully remove and clean the disc with alcohol, but instead I went ahead and swapped the discs from one of these to the one already soldered on, and everything seems to be working fine now with no soldering needed.I will repeat the step on my second dualsense hoping it also won't require soldering. The 4 star is due to the fact I had believed I was buying new parts but there were signs that this product had been recycled (some of the prongs that go into the motherboard were slightly bent and there was some slight scuffing) but it is a good value, assuming you are having the exact same issue.

Fix for hair/overly sensitive trigger
Had a r2 that was overly sensitive. Tore apart and seen was missing. Replaced with this and works as should.

Not working properly
Installed one on controller.. took a while with tools I have. doing deadzone test, the stick is locked 100% on x axis and only registers up and down movement. did some troubleshooting but couldn't find a solution. Will try redoing the process to check if just that one potentiometer is defective

THEY DO NOT WORK PROPERLY
I installed them properly but did not fix stick drift. I am still experiencing stick drink on left stick at +4 and right stick at +9. Better than what the old ones but not as close to zero as I was expecting. I already installed them so I cannot return and I am not removing just to return. These should be tested before sold to guarantee quality. I would not buy again that is for sure.

You Get What You Pay For
3/4 of the joystick modules displayed stick drift after some heavy usage (10+ hours) so they needed to be recalibrated. One constantly needs recalibration so it's a faulty module.I would return but wasn't able to try them until after the return period. They didn't sit quite as flush against the PCB as the stock modules but still installed without issue. The thumbsticks grip will wear off in a short amount of time. I wouldn't recommend installing them.I would avoid purchasing these and go with a more reputable seller or install HE/TMR modules.
