Twelve South BookBook for iPhone 8 Plus/ 7 Plus/ 6 Plus | 3-in-1 leather wallet case, display stand and removable shell (brown)

After spending many hours agonising over whether to buy this, considering the significant numbers of negative reviews , I decided to bite the bullet and spend £54.60 on it. Unfortunately, I returned it the following day as I was very underwhelmed by its appearance (did not seem top quality at all), the fabric covering the plastic phone holder had already started to peel, and the stitching looked to be of poor quality even though 12south said they had updated the card holders. 2 stars only because people say it ages well but I wasn't risking £54 to see whether that was true. Really upsetting, as I had wanted one for so long and think it's a fantastic idea. Just simply not worth the price tag, you just do not get the sense that it is a premium product. I highly advise against buying.

Not as good quality as the previous ones we bought for other iPhone models, the cover doesn't sit as well and stands up a bit, this may resolve over time, the leather had more scratches than normal but my husband is happy enough with it

Thought it was spot on. Looked the business.... sold my iPhone though now for a Samsung. Too bad they don't make them for Android!

Expensive, but great quality!

I modified mine, as I hate the bulky and nasty plastic surround. I surgically removed the holding plate, and replaced it with that from my old (and beautiful, but worn out) Dreem Fibonacci Wallet Case. The slim inside case from the Dreem is much much nicer than the nasty and bulky one provided with the Twelve South.Result, a much slimmer and attractive case all round. Really like the Twelve South outer case but think it would be better with an improved inner case (so I modded my own...). The more scuffed, the better, too.Although, admittedly, mine does look like a bad taxidermist had a go when you take out the inner case now... At least you can't see it at all during normal use though. Happy with my mod, happy with the resultant end product.4 starts only because it's too bulky with the provided inner case.

Fabulous product - this is my 3rd - every phone up-grade receives a BookBook. Beautiful, practical and hardwearing. They last for years looking better and better over time - even withstanding the battering my son dishes out to the iPhone 6 BookBook I handed down to him!
