Wow these are baaaad. I bought them for my son's costume and they shed like you wouldn't believe. As soon as I opened the bag black feathers flew out and stuck to everything. They set off everyone's allergies. They are thin to begin with so once you start handling them to make a costume, so many feathers shed that they are worthless. They are still all over my house and car.

I bought these to make JuJu Hats for my living room decor and these feathers are EVERYWHERE. I've worked with feather boas before and have never experienced this. I had to purchase a lint brush to roll down the couch and carpet because the vacuum could not pick it all up. So just be ware!

When coming out of the bag, feathers flew everywhere & my cats went crazy. I tried to shake out the loose pieces before my party, but way too much came out before I got to the "shake" part, so I decided against it. I was "shedding" all night, but lucky for me, someone else was wearing the same, or very similar boas, so I was not alone in my shedding!

WORE IT TO COUNTRY CLUB BALL LAST XMAS. DAR FEATHERS WERE FLYING E V E R Y W H E R E!!!!! (LOL) EVEN STANDING PERFECTLY STILL FEATHERS WERE FLYING EVERYWHERE! OLE SAYING..... GOT WHAT I PAID FOR! A BUNCH OF BLACK FEATHERS ALLLLL OVER EVERYWHERE AT THE BALL. AFTER 10 MINUTES, STAFF AND EVERYONE CLEANING UP THOSE FLYING FEATHERS, THE STAFF HAD TO THROW THOSE FEATHERS AWAY.

Save your money and buy the boa at PartyCity. This thing is lacking feathers and what little bits there are, they fall out with any movement. No way possible it can be worn. I am using it on my mantle as a Halloween decoration, I don’t think it’s going to last another Halloween 😕. Disappointed.

Against negative reviews, i decided to go ahead and purchase these boas because of the price. What was i thinking? A trail of feathers everywhere, as if bird fights happened everywhere my child went. If you like cleaning, go ahead and purchase. If not, move along and spend more on a boa with better reviews.

If I could go lower than a 1 I would. All I did was open the package and there was a puff of feathers that went all over the floor. I couldn't even use it. I certainly expected that for the price, there would be some shedding. But not like this. I had to toss it in the trash. Don't buy!
