Update - I'm close to harvest my mushroom!------I see some negative comments that complains it doesn't come with spawn.Well it won't, because you need to tell them that you bought the kit - and they will send it immediately.This is to make sure you'll get spawn really fresh.What I like about this kit is I could learn how to grow mushroom from start to end.If you buy "ready to grow" kit then you're basically just doing the last and easiest part of harvesting.If that's your goal(to experience harvesting) then you wanna go for ready to grow kit.This company also sells such kit too.I wanted to learn how to grow mushroom with right set of tools I need and consult with professional.For this purpose, this kit is the best.I got my stuff very quickly (they dispatched the kit within a same day I submitted email for spawn/straw)When I had issues with the progress and wrote email to their support, they wrote me back within a few hours !The support is too good to the level I feel bad for them to buy this kit at such a low cost....so I figured , probably the best thing I can do for them is to leave my detailed experience hereI haven't harvested my mushroom yet but I started to see some mushrooms. Very looking forward to it!

There are no spawn bags with the oyster mushrooms..It's a scam

GREAT KIT -HIGHLY RECOMMENDThis is a great kit! It takes a while for it to start after speaking to the guys it was now quite warm enough, but when it does it’s great fun to watch. This was a gift for my parents. They thought it was great and got a lot of mushrooms. The only point. That isn't made clear is reusing the product time and time again. It is true you can buy it entails spreading it out on the floor on a plastic sheet. This wasn't practical and you need a space to do this. I think the seller should be a little more open about reusing this. If you want to use this once and grow mushrooms of different colours go ahead it is great.

Have bought these for a few people now and they are delicious. Great fun watching them getting bigger and bigger every day. Get a huge crop also.Easy to use and arrived promptlyCouldn't be happier

After 3 weeks in, I must say that this kit is pretty good for beginners like me.First of all, I don’t agree with reviews saying that there a “no spawn bags” - YES, you do get a large log bag, misting bottle,instructions ect in fact and all you need to grow your mushrooms BUT you also get a voucher to redeem your fresh mycelium spawn and large bag of straw completely for FREE from the Foragers Table by email.This comes with no shipping fee whatsoever, just input the voucher code by email and you’re good to go.Back to the mushrooms. Yesterday there was nothing showing on the box, today I woke up to pinning!I definitely don’t have perfect conditions, after the first steps and holding them under my bed in the darkness we moved them on top of our wardrobe because we don’t really have much space for anything in our tiny home.I, honestly, didn’t even expect that anything would grow out of it given my circumstances. But it did! If I could do it then everybody can.It kinda motivated me to look into mushroom growing on its own, and I think I might even DIY a homemade mushroom growth setup on my own. It will work out cheaper than having to buy a cardboard with straw, I will just have to buy mycelium.Overall, this is a good kit. As long as you follow the instructions and redeem your free mycelium voucher you’re good to go. I would totally recommend for complete beginners like me.We decided to pick the biggest ones. I breaded them with some spices and put them in the air fryer - delicious! So crunchy on the outside, perfectly tender inside. I love it. I definitely want to try grow more of them in the future.There are still some very small shroomies growing, and I’m curious whether they’re gonna grow as well as the first batch. I’ll just keep spraying with water and we’ll see how much more mushrooms we’ll grow.Is the amount of mushrooms worth it for £20? Hard to say for now, because I harvested the first batch and still see some new growth.I think oyster mushrooms are quite expensive to buy, I actually never bought them in the UK before because I simply can’t find them anywhere so I have no idea how much a pack of oyster mushrooms costs at your typical supermarket. So speaking from the perspective of someone who really wanted these mushrooms and couldn’t find them - it’s worth it for me. The worst part is waiting for them.The overall experience is worth it in my opinion.I think this is more forgiving than your typical gardening, I’m honestly so horribly miserable at gardening and taking good care of plants. Yet I managed to grow those shroomies.Another great thing is that you can do it all year round. Of course you need to check if you have the conditions at your home like good humidity and temperature, cleanliness etc. but in general, if I had more space at home, I would definitely set up more than just one box to have sufficient supply of mushrooms.
