Headset M70, Bluetooth 3.0, Black Plantronics

I've had the Plantronics M55 before, which served me well for a couple of years. It would have easily given me more service had I not dropped it somewhere and lost it :-(Anyway, I was on the market for another bluetooth headset, offering similar features as the M55. Came across this. Had good reviews and was at a good price too. This has all the benefits of the M55 and more.The M55 had an 11 hours of talktime, stayed connected with two devices simultaneously, was small enough to be put in the shirt pocket, secure enough to keep wearing while I got cycling, and comfortable to be left on the ear for hours. (I used it for work calls, and also listen to news and audiobooks. So it's easily on my ear for about 6 hours/day)This M70 headset offers all the features above, so I was happy with it. But it has a few extra features - it feels even lighter, has separate volume up and down buttons, and one feature which is definitely a plus is that pressing both the volume buttons pauses your media playback. This is feature that bigger headsets have, but hadn't seen it so neatly implemented on a small headset like this. Next/Previous tracks can also be switched by pressing and holding one of the volume buttons (I dont find myself using this feature much)All in all, a great headset with long battery life, two simultaneous connections, comfortable for long wear, easy to carry around in pocket, and all at a very reasonable price point. Totally recommended.

Wonderful product, it is small, simple (doesn't have many buttons apart from call, volume), comfortable on ear, loud and clear, remembers 2 bluetooth phones (both mine and my wife's Android phones) and...has a fantastic battery life - been using it sporadically for 2 months and I've still yet to charge it.While silicon makes it extremely comfortable to wear on long journeys, it does occasionally slip out from my ear...and can be challenging if this tiny device slips into a crevice between the car seats...yeah ouch.I solely use this in the car to answer phone calls and receive GPS directions...and it fits my needs. With limitedIt is really a sound investment in my view and one that doesn't break the bank.

This is not an in-ear device so noisy environments can be a problem, and bass is not great for music, however the general clarity is excellent and volume is good. In noisy places press the device into your ear it helps a lot. The volume controls do not affect the phone's volume, so set your phones volume first.Excellent battery, and if you have a slim cable you can use the device while charging, super light, pretty comfortable, if it is initially uncomfortable alter the angle of the ear loop and stick with it for a week. I use it without the ear loop when in bed so I can swap sides easily (I listen to audiobooks a lot. With the earloop on you could probably jog without issues although it isn't waterproof. Range, clarity and functionality are superior to much more expensive devices. It copes with dropping out of range well, and picks up again quickly. The pressing of volume up&down together to play and pause is annoying but you get used to it.The low battery alert is much less annoying than other devices I own, and I love that it tells you the battery level and connected devices when you switch it on. It has a proper 'on / off' button, not the horrible long press buttons like some devices. As a handsfree it functions very well and my callers have only made positive comments. It benefits from Plantronics long experience making headsets, for the price I doubt there is a better device available. It feels like it weighs next to nothing, if it was only less visible I would wear it all the time. Prefer this to a smartwatch for getting alerts from my phone.

Great headset, fits comfortably, very light, and call quality is very good. Gives good audio prompts through the earpiece when switched on, stating talktime left, and whether a phone is connected. Easy to setup. Volume does go up quite high as well, which I specifically wanted, I've had headsets in the past that were too quiet. This one is loud enough that I don't have it set on the maximum volume.Seems very quick to charge, and I've only managed to drain it about half way so far. Although it is comfortable, I have found for longer journeys/usage, that my ear does start to ache a little (usually around the 3-4 hour point), however I would expect this from almost any headset.

I really like this kit, but I've had problems with it. It's comfortable to wear, the battery life is excellent, and it's easy to use. It connects quickly, although I wish that the voice didn't tell you about battery life and so on when you turn it on during a call - it disrupts the otherwise flawless takeover.Downside. The rubber earpiece cover on the first one I had split, and had to be replaced. The second unit has just stopped charging and I'm going to have to send it back as well.

This is a genuine review from someone who has had to rely heavily on this wonderful product. I am the carer for my 90 year old infirm mother. I wear the earpiece when I have to go shopping and my mother can call me without having to wait for me to retrieve my phone - I just get the message; incoming call after which I can just speak to the caller. The earpiece itself fits very easily and lightly into my ear. The sound quality is crystal clear and I hardly know that I am wearing it - I can also hear very well outside sounds with the earpiece in place. I also love the feature that allows me to call someone with a voice command - I just have to press the earpiece with my finger for two seconds and after the beep say; phone call - I then get the response that says; who do you wish to call? If the name is for someone in your phonebook, the person is then called. I have nothing but praise for this superbly well made and well priced product.
