The Best shower chair!
I had a chair we used as potty chair, shower chair etc for my 90 yo Dad-double broken hip x2. It was big and typical potty chair. It had a slick surface both the lid and seat and I did not feel he was comfortable nor safe using it in the shower. We sufficed until I decided to get him a better chair for the shower. I do NOT regret purchasing this chair and wished I had gotten it initially! It has drainage holes and a valley to help him easily reach his bottom for cleaning. It feels safe for him to maneuver in the shower and its slimmer but seems to be larger than the chair we purchased from rehab. We have a half walk in shower/glass enclosed and this fits perfectly through the opening and inside the shower. It looks better too! It has a back and arms for safety and getting up. Shower time is stressful as we have to be very careful but this helps ease my mind that he’s a bit safer using this chair. He won’t slip or fall from using it as the seat, arms and back have texture. It’s much more comfortable for him sitting on during shower time. He can easily clean parts of his body that normally he’d be sitting on. It is easy to clean and keep clean. Assembly instructions are thorough and the chair took very little time to put together-less than 30 minutes. Would absolutely recommend this chair!

Very Sturdy But Large
The shower chair was easy to assemble and I had no trouble as I followed the very clear instructions with photos of each step. The only tool needed is a screwdriver which is included. It was ready to use in less than ten minutes after I opened the box.The chair is very sturdy. It doesn't wobble at all. The back makes it very comfortable to use and makes using it seem safer because the patient won't tip backwards off the chair. If the back isn't wanted it comes right off by pushing in the pop-up buttons that hold it in place and pulling it off.The two arm rests have foam at the top that help to cushion them and also give a better, more secure grip when sitting or getting up. They also can be removed by just pushing in the pop-up buttons. The seat is slightly contoured where the legs rest and that makes it much more comfortable. The seat is a textured plastic that isn't slippery but is still easy to clean. The legs adjust up or down by the same pop-up button system so I was able to customize it to exactly the right height for the user. After it was no longer needed I discovered that the legs were holding some water inside so I had to pop off the bottom pieces of the legs and let it drain for a day before storing it away.I highly recommend this chair for use in a larger shower but think it might be too big to use in a standard bathtub because the legs widen as they get farther from the seat. That widening makes it more sturdy but also give it a larger footprint.

Very high quality shower chair!
Very sturdy and comfortable shower chair. Excellent product and an affordable price. It has great slip resistance and easily fits inside the tub. The extra height adjusting buttons are very easy to work, as well.

Perfect post surgery addition
This shower chair has been a lifesaver for my mom after her knee surgery. It's perfect for providing the stability she needs while showering. The non-slip design gives us peace of mind, knowing she won't accidentally slip. The wide seat is very comfortable for her, and the chair is easy to clean, making maintenance a breeze. Overall, it's been an excellent addition to her recovery routine, and I highly recommend it for anyone in need of a reliable and comfortable shower chair.

Leg width is inaccurate at 20 inches. IMPORTANT, IF USING IN A BATHTUB. !!
I really like this shower chair and experienced none of the quality problems others had. Product was manufactured In China and was well wrapped for shipment. All parts were wrapped in protective plastic and the entire unit was shrink-wrapped to the size of the shipping box.The design is very functional for my 5’ 7” body. THE IMPORTANT MEASUREMENT FOR ME WAS THE WIDTH OF THE LEGS AS IT IS TO GO INTO MY 1989 KOHLER BATHTUB.This is a standard 5’ tub, What I didn’t realize is the tub width at the top of the tub is not the width at the bottom. The bathtub gradually curves in. The 20 inch measurement given in the product listing does not take into consideration the rubber feet which hold the chair in place. I DO NOT THINK THIS CHAIR WOULD BE USABLE WITHOUT THE RUBBER PADS. For this chair to be used, (stock) you would need 21 “ to 23” of flat space. This changes depending on how high you are extending the legs. I am using mine at the bottom leg length (17 to 18) and shaving. (Tapering) the rubber feet on the curved side.) I am also, length-wise in the last hole. This makes the seat height 16 inches above the tub floor.I am very pleased with the quality of the unit would buy it again, BUT, the product specs need to be accurately described. Also, other reviewers have mentioned that the seat screws are too long and when cranked tight they extend through the seat cushion. I had the same problem with mine. The other reviewer bought replacement screws of proper length, however my solution was to add a thick enough washer to allow the screw to be tightened short of piercing through the seat cushion. Be careful, when inserting the screw THE SECOND TIME, in order to use the previous threads created by the first insertion, turn the screw by hand until you feel it running in the track created by the first insertion, then tighten until the washers are snug.My research of these chairs showed that there are so many variables changing the width of the base in the tub that apparently none of the manufacturers includes the rubber feet when measuring. This chair’s description of width at 20 inches was the shortest for this design of chair, that I looked at.For less than $50.00, I’ll give it 4 stars, taking one off for not covering the base width adequately.
