Alfa Network AWUS036NHA + Universal Mount CS 5dBi Wireless N Network Adapter

Bought to accompany a degree course - working perfectly in Ubuntu, Kali and Windows 10. Ubuntu and Kali worked out of the box, but I had to install drivers for Windows 10 (Windows 10 automatically did this - just needed to maintain internet access from a second adapter in order to do this). I've not had any problems since installation - definitely increased the range and consistency compared to the smaller TP-Link USB dongle that I'd been using (which still performed really well, just not as well as the Alfa).I've not yet investigated too much with the Ubuntu/Kali settings, but based on other reviews and online content I've got no concerns. Was happily surprised just how well it boosted the range on my Windows 10 desktop. Extra mounting clip/suction mount also means it's currently sitting tidily on my second monitor.

Brought for the fact of being able to go into monitoring mode and also undertake packet injection into a network.Great functionality and easy to setup and use, portable too.There is a clip also that allows you to slot onto a desk or laptop screen which is also handy.

good value for money, works great on Kali Linux. Not so great on windows 10.Recommended for Kali Linux Only, unless you are proficient at computers.

Great bit of kit, Alfa drivers no longer work with Windows 10, there's third party ones though that make it work fine, just do a Google search. Think it's a TP Link one. If you're after one of these, then you probably want to know - yes, it works perfectly in monitor mode in Kali Linux in a virtual box hahahaha Also works damn well as a regular WiFi aerial if you've got an older machine or one that's in an area with dodgy signal

Very good product, I can squeeze the max even from the very weak signal. Handy tool, will fit to any laptop bag, big advantage is the ability to change the antenna for longer one (so you can get even better signal from distant sources), like compatibility of the product.Compatible with Linux distros (Kali...)

This is a great tool for penetration testing and setting up your own hotspots. I use this with Kali and Parrot Sec on virtual box and it really is a simple plug and play adapter, if you do have any issues then ask a question on here and I will help as much as I can.The adapter has a Atheros AR9271 chipset with a 5dBi interchangeable dipole antenna, the max data range is 150Mbps. This adapter will not support 5GHz it only supports 2.4GHz frequency range if you want one that supports 5GHz I would advise going for the Alfa AWUS036ACH Dual Band USB Adaptor AC1200.If you are looking at getting into cybersecurity I would advise downloading Parrot Sec on VirtualBox so if you ruin your system you can just load a fresh one.
