When I was between jobs I put all our DVD's, Blu-Rays, and CDs on a plex server (a guy's gotta have a hobby). Then I started buying used blu-rays to replace the DVDs in our setup, and ordering new sets when I could find them on sale. Ebay is a great place for this, just don't get the ones from Goodwill because they are almost always trash and a waste of your time and money.We recently bought the Community complete series and when I went to rip it two of the titles would not rip. When I looked at the discs they had super tiny scratches that were preventing me from being able to read them. It read all the other files fine, but not those.So I reached out to the company I bought it from and they were working on figuring out a process to fix it, but in the meantime I bought a CD cleaner from Amazon. I had a disc cleaner thing that kind of worked some of the time, but it was really hit or miss. This one, for only $8, did the job. I had to re-polish one disc a few times, but it really worked. It smells like it's just normal polishing compound (and probably is), but for a simple kit it really worked well. I strongly recommend it.

So there was about a half inch scratch around the 6 minute mark of Loser on my favorite GD show 5-19-77 and now there isn't!!! I was skeptical. First application did not work. Then I rubbed some of the stuff just a bit harder and for a minute just like instructed. Voila! I didn't even any visible sign of the scratch and more importantly NO SKIPS!!! Outstanding, Ordering a back up now! LOL

Didnt do anything for the disk other than make it look greasy and take forever to polish smooth again. The game was functional with my old ps2 and the refurbished one will not play even after using this kit and it has no issue with any other disks I have tried with it. Overpriced waste of time.

Package came doused in a weird blue liquid which is strange because the polish they give you is white, so it couldn't have been from anything in the product itself... and yet, everything else in my package was completely dry, including the amazon packaging it came in.Nevertheless, i used the product and managed to revive my copy of Daxter on UMD for the Sony Playstation Portable.Which is odd because i think it had even more scratches after i was done with it, in particular because the cloth they give you is basically the complete opposite of soft, non-scratching microfiber.Overall it was a very odd and confusing experience, but the product did function in the end, so i can't complain.For those interested, the unidentified blue liquid had a faint, somewhat pleasant floral smell.

It doesn't fix all scratches

Used this on my scratched Stevie Ray Vaugn cd and no more scratch I aws unable to listen to the first 3 tracks untill I used this,

Works ok for light scratches. I used it because a newish DVD was skipping. It got a little better but still skips to the point that it's unwatchable. If the DVD wasn't part of a set, I'd return it, but I can't return the whole set.

I had to repeat the process 3 times but I eventually got my DVD to work flawlessly.
