5% concentration seems optimum and works well too.. serum is non sticky and gets well absorbed into the skin. Very slowly but lightens a few spots, very slowly.

Niacinamide is a very safe and stable ingredient. I bought 5% because most clinical trials have been done with 3-5 percent. Since I am a newbie to skincare and wanted to take it slow and steady.This helps reduce acne scars and also smooths out the skin. I use it twice a day and top it off with a heavy moisturizer.
